ok, just wanted to explain if anyone does have numlock on but it still wont work.

trust me, i have had that issue on my laptop in gmod, i figured out that it was my mouse controls later

the 7,9,1, and 3 make the mouse move diagonally
and 0 wont do anything but it still will not work if numpad mouse controls are on.

"mouse controls" a option in the settings that allows you to control the mouse with 8,5,4,6, and 2 on the numpad

the typos are real ;-;

"im pressing the controls to drive the sweepminer, but it does'nt move"
A: make sure yu have the num lock turned on and make sure that you dont have mouse controls on

I was just playing around with this idea myself, and I found something interesting:

When adjusting the speed, an array of bombs may operate differently. I took my speed to 6% and ran a massive explosion, and it made a big boom. But just for fun, I put it at 200% and... dud. No big boom, just a little poof. (No human intervention in any take).

I think that when you increase the speed, it may not process everything the same. Maybe it's just my machine's processing speed that varies, but it was quite interesting to note that speeding it up caused the explosion to not trigger properly.

If you don't want to use it, there's a simple solution. Don't use it.

I mean credit where its due, but still the whole point in the game is to do levels your own way and experiment each time. This defeats the purpose :)

Thanks, @Your Companion Cube! I also built it as a design exercise, to see just how efficient and user-friendly I could make a zone-clearing machine.

@dan the point is to unlock all the levels so you can just experiment or if, like me, you switch computers and don't want to have to recomplete all the levels just because besiege dosn't save to the cloud

This is so shit. whats the point in this? The whole idea of a sandbox game is to make your own shit to work in a situation of your making. This shit ruins the game.

Hmm...that is puzzling. I Googled it, and somebody got it to work by unsubbing and resubbing to each item, and somebody else got it to work by exiting and restarting Steam. Somebody else got it to work by "checking the game files integrity." (I don't know what that means, but I guess it's worth trying if you do know what it means.) I couldn't find any consistently effective solutions, though.

If nothing else, you can always get the one I put on BesiegeDownloads. It's a direct download, so it should work fine. Note that the controls on that version are a little different for people who don't have numpads.

This might sound like a silly question, but are you going to "load machine" and clicking on the Steam logo next to the blank for the machine name? The Steam items are in a separate place from the machines saved on your computer.

how about a night? I subbed to the machine yesterday and when it wouldn't show up i went to sleep, this morning i looked in my workshop stuff and it still isnt there.

Sometimes it takes a minute or two.
