I've found two mods which conflict with vv's mod series. There's Civilization removal which removes base game civs so you only have mod civs. You want to download "Only Mod Civs," that one IS compatible with these mods. Also, Gaia's Core Mod also conflicts with these in some way, they wont show up. Whatever he does to overhaul the base game civs also conflicts with these civs

When I was troubleshooting it looks like a completely random mod might be ticking something that's stopping all of these civs to show up. I don't know which one it might've been bc I was turning off random ones in multiples and re-entering the civ select screen to check, but it's almost certainly another mod conflicting with this one if you can't select the leaders at all.

The Neptunia mods work fine, but I have a black leader screen for all the girls that I have never actually seen happen before. The mechanics work, it's just... there's no display on diplomacy now. I have no idea why this suddenly kicked off.

Rather disappointed that the mods have been rendered completely unplayable. I recently got into Civ5 again and thought it'd be a fun nostalgia trip, and wanted to try it out with LekMod.

I attempted to follow eric.tian's instructions, but the game seemed to simply overwrite the changes. I am using Linux these days so there might be a difference there, but I rather doubt it.

From what I can tell its just a problem with civ V not unpacking things properly.

To install properly, clean install the game and wipe the MODS folder at
Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

Start up the game and enter the mod menu, wait for any mods to download and unpack themselves.

Then download the zip file here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zoWzNaa43mO08tzNCqVIsuQpL-ENP0s2/view?usp=sharing

and unzip the contents into the MODS folder. Replace any file overlaps and delete any file in the MODS folder that ends with the extension .civ5mod.

I'm not planning on adding new leaders or doing more balance changes to this mod, but the issue of leaders being completely unselectable is bad enough I'll blow the dust off my old SDK to try to fix it.

If you are running into this issue, please follow the instructions below, and post the contents of your database.log to Pastebin or a similar site so I can see it.

Are these mods actually defunct? I, just using a vanilla BNW install and have enabled all of these packs, but no new leaders when creating a game.

Ouch. I don't know if you still work on these but none of the Neptunia characters show up in the list of leaders.

Just to clarify, is it fine to have the other CPUs (or ALL of the CPUs) played by AIs? Or can I expect some odd behavior or bugs over time in one or both of those situations?

Ah then that would explain that black screen issue. I never would of thought that Mages. would of caused that though.

Is that for the diplomacy screen? IIRC the only time that was an issue is if that MAGES civ (which I didn't make) was active. Otherwise I'm not aware of any black screen issues.

So I'm guessing you haven't fixed the black screen issue I take it? Oh well I really did like your Neptunia Civs a whole lot and I tend to use then too when I play my modded games. If anything good pluck on your future endevors, and may they be fruitful and fun then.

It's actually rather easy to do for the most part; it just involves going through the .sql and .lua files and editing the appropriate numbers to be ten times higher. Neptune and Plutia would probably be more involved than the other seven since they are very heavy on Lua coding, and a lot of the numbers are defined in the code. I could help you out with it if you have any questions.

I know there's basically zero chance of you coming back to mod Civ V, and tbh, it might be best to just go out on a high note... but tbh, lately I've been playing around with BalanceGoldPrime++ and your Madoka civs cranked to ten.

On a scale of one to ten, how daunting a task d'you think it'd be to make a BalanceGoldPrime++ version of the Neptunia civs? That is, assuming you don't mind my attempt to do so, and with the knowledge that I have zero knowledge of what goes into this (so I'd basically have to learn the basics from scratch to do it).

Dammit, that's a shame, though I suppose I can understand. I guess I can only hope that we get a good Neptunia-based 4X or grand strategy game someday, or at least another set of good mods for an unrelated one.

Sorry to say that I'm completely retired from Civ 5 modding; the game itself is no longer fun to me even with huge mods like Rise to Power. There is a small chance I might work on some mods for 6 later.

Have you ever considered updating (and rebalancing) these mods? Noire and Plutia are OP. Neptune is stupidly underpowered in the hands of a player but easily turns into an unstoppable runaway when controlled by AI. Meanwhile Blanc, Vert, and Nepgear are all kinda meh.

No plans to make any more Neptunia civs for Civ 5...or Civ 6, for that matter. I was beaten to the punch and I don't want a dozen different Planeptunes for VI like there are here.

Found a glitch where when two Civs are the same leader (Plutia and Plutia in my case) shares don't seem to work. At least as far as I've seen, for the two Civs who have the same leader.

Anyone know a better way to see how much shares you have rather than just moving your mouse over the top menu? I'm unable to view my amount of share sinces all the strategic resources move it out of the way.

so I go to play a match as noire, and well, shit was fucked. Moving a unit toggled the undetailed game view, settlers were for some reason given a promotion to select from, and I was seeing the histoire tab that nep gets. not sure if it's just I need to reinstall the file or something needs fixing >.> and before everyone asks, no I wasn't using the MAGES civ or any other that isn't VV's civs.

I think I have found an major bug. I removed all other mods and tried it with about half the civs but I have never seen the unique dialogs between the characters.
