unlikely, this is just new models, using the same battery game code, just with different capacities, and input/output values, those values are not changing the game code.
James_Sherman 12 Feb, 2022 @ 10:12am
the new updates break this by chance?
Nikolas March  [author] 3 Jan, 2021 @ 2:45pm
should be, this mod doesnt change any default battery game logic :)
MA€STRO™ 3 Jan, 2021 @ 1:40am
Hello, is this mod working?
ErikV70 4 Jan, 2020 @ 7:44am
Nice work....the 3x3x1 is exactly what i needed :-)
Slye_Fox 30 Oct, 2019 @ 8:41pm
Any chance of updating these to use the skins system?
Payback 16 Aug, 2019 @ 12:18pm
Is there any way to remove the auto recharge option from batteries? This seems to cause the most lag so being able to not have this on servers would be great!
DenKrigsgud 24 Mar, 2019 @ 6:10am
is there any chance you could work with the author of https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=691529112 ? I would very much like to use more powerful versions of these as well but implemented in the same manor.
Mr_695 15 Mar, 2019 @ 1:11pm
@Ravenbolt It is good to see that you are back in action, your mods are some of the on the Workshop
Ravenbolt  [author] 15 Mar, 2019 @ 6:53am
@Slye_Fox Well thank you! :D

I have plans to re-balance my batteries to match the new stats for vanilla, if so they also cost more. But nothing is in the works yet.
Slye_Fox 15 Mar, 2019 @ 6:33am
Same purpose, but you're is slightly better (cheaper and holds more power) and I honestly think it looks better.
I would love to see a replacment for the 2x3x3 vannila one too in your design style.
Ravenbolt  [author] 15 Mar, 2019 @ 6:20am
@Slye_Fox That would be possible but nothing I'm keen on doing. I rather add stuff than replace. But I see your point, they serve the exact same purpose.
Slye_Fox 15 Mar, 2019 @ 6:18am
Would it be possable to have your battery overwrite the vannila compact one?
Ravenbolt  [author] 14 Mar, 2019 @ 5:09am
@Cookie Dude. That is really strange. I tried to replicate the problem but I had no troubles. Like Nikolas March said, batteries in SE do not explode and I have not added any extra codes to this mod. I only made new models and changed the stats. :/
Cookie Dude 14 Mar, 2019 @ 2:57am
Have battery explosion as the krypt1c said. Build ship in survival on planet, using both batteries from mod and vanilla. Dock it to my base and went to mining ice, approx for 10-15 min. When back, ship got half exploded where i place the batteries (behind ship). There is no pirates, meteors e.t.c.
Slye_Fox 10 Mar, 2019 @ 6:06am
Thanks
Ravenbolt  [author] 10 Mar, 2019 @ 6:02am
@Slye_Fox Good idea!

-Added in to progression.
-Added PCU values.
Slye_Fox 10 Mar, 2019 @ 5:59am
Changelog?
filipe 6 Jan, 2019 @ 3:24am
One of my favourite mods, thanks you guys for creating this amazing mod.
Keep it up!
Nikolas March  [author] 4 Jan, 2019 @ 11:46am
Batteries in SE dont explode, these definitely dont have any extra coding to make it happen.
Name not found 3 Jan, 2019 @ 10:46pm
Do the batteries explode when over charged or something. Made a new easy start asteroid survival map, replaced the reactors of the fighter ship and miner ships with compact batteries and connected them to the base and went to breakdown the blue ship, came back and the fighter had exploded. auto save happened so need going to restart only like 30 minutes lost but still... oh environment hostility set to safe so it wasnt an meteor.

Hey you back to modding?
Nikolas March  [author] 20 Dec, 2018 @ 4:51pm
mod dependencies is the way to go, as they dont need to be subbed to :)
Mysticlynx 20 Dec, 2018 @ 3:01pm
Hey, want to make an edit too but for a mod collection . Nikolas informed me of a work around however I am trying to keep the mod dependencies for the collection as a whole to a minimum. I would be listing you as the content creator and could use a different tumb picture as to not confuse with original.

Hi Ravenbolt :D

I'm currently constructing a small server mod package for the use (exclusively) on my upcoming dedicated server.

I wanted to ask you if I may use the models of the 1x1x1 battery and the 3x1x1 battery for my server mod package. Of course, You will be credited for your awesome work and I'll put a link to this site.

I have total understanding if you don't allow me to use them, because I'm a modder myself.
My plan is to use those two models for two types of a special energy module which I would like to offer for building mechs etc. on my server. I would create and use own models, if I could. But I'm having issues with Blender. :(
whitepawrolls 26 Jul, 2018 @ 3:59am
Ohh I found it. Thank you.
Ravenbolt  [author] 24 Jul, 2018 @ 9:54pm
@whitepawrolls. I have a version in my workshop that restores powercells.
whitepawrolls 12 Jul, 2018 @ 6:51am
Hello. Love this mod for the different needs of my batteries, but was curious if you could make it compatible with the recycleable batteries mod? Thank you.

Nikolas March  [author] 22 Jan, 2018 @ 7:37am
@RavenBolt i still have a copy of your original mod, want me to send it to you?
Med288 21 Jan, 2018 @ 9:38pm
Just tested it Naa it do'nt :( Oo well. :steamhappy:
Ravenbolt  [author] 21 Jan, 2018 @ 8:53pm
@Med288 I do not know. :/
Med288 21 Jan, 2018 @ 6:02pm

dRuPpI 14 Jan, 2018 @ 1:37pm
... what is with your drills? :steamhappy:
Ravenbolt  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 12:33am
@Morpheus Thanks! Glad to hear that! I really want to update older mods (like compact conveyor system) but that task is pretty big and time consuming. :/ But maybe. :)
Molten Carnage 12 Jan, 2018 @ 8:20am
NVM I was so excited to see these batteries that I commented before scrolling down. It's awesome to have you back. Your mods made one of biggest, if not the biggest, improvements to the game. Your mods are the reason I started getting serious with grid builds. Thanks for your hard work. Really appreciate it.
Molten Carnage 12 Jan, 2018 @ 8:15am
Damn! Where have I been? Welcome back! I've been waiting for these. Love the new models. I don't want to push my luck, but does this mean you may update other past mods of yours?
Gonz.0 31 Dec, 2017 @ 11:29pm
Welcome back. Damn I wish they would add these to vanilla. I HATE that the battery is so large for small ships. Makes much more sense to have 1 battery = 1 block both large and small scale.
Dak Smith 21 Nov, 2017 @ 5:11pm
Welcome back!
Kira 31 Oct, 2017 @ 11:30pm
O: Does this mean we'll get an updated compact conveyor system mod? :D?
Voodoo.Waza 21 Oct, 2017 @ 8:51pm
Love these thanks.
Ravenbolt  [author] 13 Oct, 2017 @ 11:42am
@Damians Demon Glad you like them! :D
Daniel Frost 13 Oct, 2017 @ 10:57am
Wow, i was chocked to see different models thatn before... now they really look more like batteries. Sweet! Thank you! :D
Nikolas March  [author] 12 Oct, 2017 @ 6:52pm

Ravenbolt  [author] 12 Oct, 2017 @ 5:07pm
I'm now back to modding SE again! Yay me! I have updated the batteries with new modified models for the blocks and construction stages
Nikolas March  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 6:35am
Mod is uploaded, i wont link it here, search for it on steam, Updated Compact Batteries
thanks again RavenBolt :)
Nikolas March  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 5:29pm

Ravenbolt  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 12:50pm
@Nikolas March. Go ahead. You have my blessing! :D
Nikolas March  [author] 16 Sep, 2017 @ 6:27pm
*new mod with new models*
Nikolas March  [author] 16 Sep, 2017 @ 6:27pm
or Ced23ric if you see this :)
Nikolas March  [author] 16 Sep, 2017 @ 6:26pm
RavenBolt if you see this, would you be ok with me using your contruction models (and subtype IDs) to upload a new mod? while keeping this one in its current state, i will also add a version with unique subtype IDs so people can choose to have both mods in the game :)
