But I think that there is room for some balance improvement here...
In his current form, he's rather broken by being too good with easily neglected weaknesses.
Here are some thoughts of trying to rebalance him, if you'd like to consider!
#1: The violin being permanent makes it too good.
Make it have limited uses and give it a crafting recipe: Something like logs for the wood and silk for strings?
It can work like either Willow's Lighter; drain durability slowly as you play the violin or make it like the Pan Flute; restore a set amount of sanity upon use.
#2: Remove the slower hunger rate.
There is no reason for Brook to have this; in the anime he eats just as much food as the other characters. Hell, he even answered yes when the others asked him if he was able to poop!
If you're still aiming for a fairly balanced character, his weapon must also stop being permanent - give it a crafting recipe. It can use flint and twigs and rocks. Damage-wise, it should be weaker than Wigfrid's battlespear, but at least stronger than the regular spear; making for an easy craftable alternative. Removing the swordcane is a valid option as well; since it being permanent makes it too strong (as reasoned by the sanity loss having little meaning for a character that easily regains it)
#4: Weather Immunity.
This one is a bit tough for me to decide on. I can agree here that, having no skin on his bones would suggest he feels no warmth or cold, but this does inevitably add a lot of strength on his side, as it makes winter cold / summer heat items obsolete towards him.
It removes a large part of the survival part of the game, making it feel a little broken. Perhaps just natural resistances against the weather?
