Noted! Not sure if/when I'll be able to fix it, as I haven't had SE installed for a while now and I'd have to re-learn how block and weapon definitions work. Replacing the vanilla weapons is intentional, however the placement issues are not.

just a heads up this mod seems to replace the vanilia weapons too, causes issues with AI ships and workshop ships, as it makes them 1 x 1, and they dont remain in the middle they move to the top corner on the 3 x 3 size(the model doesnt change just the boundary arround it)

I don't remember SE mods ever having bin files? I'll unpack the workshop version later and check it out.

Not at the moment, I'm afraid. Been on hiatus from SE for a few months now. I'll update this when I come back to the game if it needs updating, but for all intents and purposes it's "feature complete".

The Pilot episode is still in creation. We wanted to get permission first before we film too much. It will be on YouTube, most likely called, "New Frontier". Thank you for your permission :)

The director of the web series wanted to ask the developer(s) of this mod with his own account, but he can’t seem to comment for some reason. So I am posting it for him. The message goes: “Hello. I am creating a web series based in Space Engineers and would like permission from the creator(s) of this mod to use it in said series. Your mod and account name(s) will be credited in the credits at the end of each episode it is used in.”

I haven't tested round spread yet, but they should be - my fixed modded weapons didn't update and they're affected by it.

@jmsabins48 This mod replaces nothing, and instead adds separate turrets for large ships that use the small ship turret model.

@Mornedhel I might release another version that keeps vanilla stats - I like the idea of large ship turrets being generally more powerful than their small ship counterparts, even if I don't have the software or skill required to update the turret model to reflect that.

Correction: Turns out I had to overwrite the thumbnail by switching out the image in the mod file. Icon changed! Thanks. :D

@Mork I don't know how to update the workshop icon - I overwrote the thumbnail, which was the same file, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

If you can change the icon in the workshop might result in more people checking this item out and subscribing. I was the same as jtfroh thinking of doing the same thing, until I saw this item had updated when you view it.

@jtfroh Yeah, I tried using the attachments mod, but it often resulted in my ships exploding as they started moving - from what I can gather, it's to do with the small ship grids not calculating physics until a short time after the large ship grid they're attached to starts moving, thus they get stuck inside the large ship and explode.

I've been debating using Digi's Attachments Panel to put small ship turrets on large ships, but I never thought of making a mod. I'm going to have to try this out.
