*BOWS TO MOD KING
Thx
thanks for your efforts :)
TW cavalry units have had the option to dismount for quite a while!
But, I think it would be a bit to complicated for gamers like myself to operate something like that.
And no I'm not planning any proper roster expansions, I'll probably just make some small unit mods for the factions I play.
Except, the horse runners/slayers,..who were chosen for their very small stature (like horse jockeys), rode on the rump of the horse during battle. Then, when their cavalry masters engaged in battle,..they would jump off & cut the legs of the enemies horse. And then finish off the rider b4 he could get up off the ground!
This is how Ceasar's cavalry force defeated Pompey's MUCH larger cavalry force. And, when Labienus (the defector) seen them he got scared cause he had been with caesar in Gaul & knew what they were capable of.
Too bad you aren't doing the same as in rome II :)
What you did in this Langobards mod was subtle but spot-on, and the fact that you even corrected armour that was clipping shows that you really pay attention to detail!
Sure the Visigoths could use some unique units (especially sword units in my opinion), but then again I think most factions could use a mod like this!
Anyway, thanks for the reply and for this cool mod :)
Can't wait to see more mods from you Sebidee, keep up the good work!
for a new campaign may I suggest Himyar, nothing like having to pick a fight with Rome or the Sassanids...or both if your feeling crazy
(will there be more roster tweaks?)
Sebidee, I know you don't just make a mod like this in 5 min, but I would like to ask (if you have the time for it, of course) could you do it for the Visigoths too?
