Hey, so I found the cause of the slightly transparent ui elements (when exporting the elements from the base game, the alpha channel is acutally not 100 % opaque, for wathever reason).
I uploaded a fix here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18ytbslMxooKZPP-UVfomRs2MTymOcgSN/view?usp=drive_link
It also includes numerous fixes for smaller erros within the original files (messed up alpha channels, graphics that slipped by a pixel, etc.). You can use the files and copy them over into your mod if you like. I'm not quite sure if i compiled the files with the correct compression settings using AoM Texture Converter 1.0.2 though, I'm fairly new to that (I used 32bit zlib compression for everything that has transparencies somewhere, and 24bit zlib for everything that doesn't). I also redid the "removing the Titans logo from the Atlantean menus" from scratch (no offense intended, I'm just weird like that. :P )

Felix - the Chinese weren't in the original AOM because they were added as a DLC, which is exclusive to the Extended Edition - which uses a new artwork style.
Felixgame 9 Jul, 2017 @ 1:24pm
Original AOM kein warum? :/

Felix - If you're asking about the Chinese civ in this game, they weren't in the original AoM, so never had a 'classic' skin - they've only ever existed in the Extended Edition, which uses new skin graphics.

wie auch Classic UI Skin chinese kein?? :/

Anyways to make the background of the map UI black instead of grey? It would look much better in my opinion.

Hello brother! Thanks for the mod. There is slight issue. Sometimes maps in the UI have gray area around them, in other words maps do not fill whole map UI. I hope that makes sense?

Tarvanis -

Good catch, I hadn't noticed that! Yes, it does seem to be appear ever so slightly transparent. That's not intentional. It's likely to do with how AoM:EE applies transparency to UI elements, as they've added the HUD transparency slider. It's not likely to be anything I can do much about, but I'll look into. For now, hopefully it's not noticeable enough to bother you!

I just realised that the top of the interface (the thing with the helmets, civilization and major god's name) is a little bit transparent. Is that supposed to be like that?

@Sannn

Skybox released a mod a while back to do that:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=254695909&searchtext=

- but it's missing some features, so you'll want to install my patch for that mod over the top:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=540372801

I've also made this - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=260452989 - that changes the menu style to the blue and gold version from the original game, but at the moment it doesn't remove the main menu dragon.

@Sir Jasper Trund

menus - options
I think the new version of the menu options - dragon too ugly:steamsad:

@Sannn

Thanks!

And are you referring to the in-game UI, or the menus - options, game setup, history etc?
NAYIHSIALRO 31 Jan, 2016 @ 12:41am
Nice! Can you change the menu style to AoMTT?

No worries, enjoy!

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot! :)

Hi Gilbert,

I've made a mod that should do what you need. Just install over the top of the Ensemble UI mod and give it higher priority in the mod manager.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=540372801

I may make a Titans menu mod in future, but for now this should do what you need :) If you want to remove 'The Titans' branding text from the UI, just install this mod (on this page) over the top of the Ensemble mod and give higher priority in mod manager.

Thanks for your answer! Basically I need three things: titans menu style, titans in-game UI and villager counter. The ensemble UI is fine, but it doesn't contain villager counter, and this miss the menu style. I decided to use this because of the counter, but I'm still looking for the titans pre-game UI. Thats why I ask you if you can make such a menu style mod as your original blue-gold, but with titan skin? (compatible with this) Or do you know any way to add counter to the ensemble ui?

Gilvert_von_Duits - Thanks! If you're looking for a mod that reskins the entire pre-game menu system and in-game UI in The Titans Style, Skybox Labs uploaded one when the game was released - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=254695909&searchtext=

Alternatively, I've made a mod that reskins all menus in the original AoM blue and gold style - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=260452989

Are either of these what you're after? :)
