Ah, I did have time to familiarize myself with the layout in an earlier stream, but it got cut short.

Thanks for your playthrough, well done. I expect the player to start quite confused but you seemed to be familiar with the layout at the start. About the nitpick, it was indeed tedious and I hate to inform you that it was also completely unnecessary to redirect the laser through the portal on that tiny spot. ;)
It is unlikely that this map gets updated (needs old beemod and custom files) so I hope that no severe problems show up. There is an optimized remake of this puzzle available, Prototype's Excogitate , which maybe does at better job at preventing the player from doing tedious things.

Awesome logic puzzle. Surprisingly, I only took around an hour and a half to solve it, I must be getting better at harder puzzles. I do have 1 or 2 nitpicks, though, like redirecting the laser back through the portal to turn off the fizzler, was sort of tedious to get the right angle. Also, I feel as though the very last part wasn't necessary, I think you could have left the door open at the top of the piston platform and it would have been just as challenging. That said, I'm happy to say that this map has joined another map of yours, C-Vertex, on my list of personal favorites. Thanks!

Wow, this one took me several long hours to crack yet it is all logical in the end - very very clever, certainly one of your best maps. What made it particulalry difficult (evil) for me is that you don't need to place blue gel in the 2 additional places to get the 3rd cube, so by the time I had that cube my mind had moved on and did not consider backtracking for a long time - as doing these moves involved losing that 3rd cube . Very very small nitpick (just so that I feel like doing my job commenting) the fact that you have to repeat several times the sequence to get to the cube redirecting the laser in the intended solution, let alone when you are trying things out, is a bit tedious unless you noclip .

Extremely difficult map. I gave up in the end, didn't know how to use the light bridge and get to the door. I had to watch your video :(

Front page difficulty, why only that little favourites?

Thanks for playing. It's ok to not use the laser catcher, it is there to avoid a theoretical trapping situation.

Really tough and hard one, great work ; I never used the catcher that call the reflector in the angled panels room; nice work transporting the laser to activate the piston, really tough this part.

wow hardest map i have ever seen
toncica  [author] 24 Feb, 2016 @ 8:07am
Thank you for the video. You did a lot more cube swapping than intended, in fact I always tried to prevent this excessive cube shuffling by forcing the first reflective cube to remain stationary when the standard cube comes into play. But you beat me by blocking the laser with the standard cube, well done. ;)
So, I have added a connection that shuts off the other laser when the first one is being blocked. Hopefully that will stop the unintended way in an early stage.

After having done Requiem by Cyhborg, this one took me an hour or two.
Here's my playthough, which differs from yours a bit, so it's a bit unintended I guess:

All in all, an excellent brainteaser, Lol.
Almost like solving chess puzzles.

well toncica youve done it again, made me feel like a real stupid person. you make these amazing maps that i can never figure out. even watching the walkthrough i can barely follow. ill say it again great map only wish i could play it. keep them coming maybe one day ill be able to finish one on my own.
toncica  [author] 31 Oct, 2015 @ 5:20am
Not sure for what it counts, you have to be the judge. ;)
It's safe to say that 30 minutes brings nothing more than a peek into the puzzle. If there's no room for a 2-3 hours of braincrushing in your schedule then it's better to avoid it.

Well... I tried it. That counts for something, right?

After 30 minutes I got to nowhere so I'm not willing to spend more time in this braincrusher. It might turn out to be clever and interesting, but it's just not my type of puzzle. The easy version was enough for me.

Darf man fragen was da war? (gern mal im Chat)

Bleib gegrüßt

Of course... I probably stopped at 7 attempts when testing it.

Nicht behoben, https://youtu.be/ZHNUP_HaITM

I just had to, it only took 8 attempts :P

Nein, Puzzle bleibt gleich, aber es gab einige Probleme die zu inakzeptablen Lösungen führten. Alles gefixt.
BlumCoLe' 18 Oct, 2015 @ 2:38pm
Noch schwerer? :/
