These tiles are not passable, for the builder to build a brigde, he needs to move onto that celll (by enbarking), which is not possible with these tiles. Thus, no, you can't construct a brigde over them ....

I don't recall ever seeing any rapids, though as to the person saying the only other way to fix them is to have bridges become constructable, as far as I know they are, I don't know if it works over rapids but from what I read when you have a builder construct a road over a river it will construct a bridge.

Thanks for this! Hate those rapids that cut continents in half. Hopefully they'll fix the RMG, but meanwhile, this is a good solution.

I had always thought they should be crossable like mountains, once you got basic seafaring, but this works just as well if not better. Rapids are a pain.

Great idea for a mod. The RMG has always been notorious about putting in way too many rapids tiles.

This is a very good idea, as only a select few classes can ignore the damn rapids via flyers or floaters, and those that can't just spam flyers/floaters across them are at a huge disadvantage. Especially in the early game, where a Warlord player can't get past them at all unless he/she goes all the way around the damn rapids.

The only other way I could see this being fixed is if bridges become constructable. That change would make it WAY easier to bypass them. Alternatively a Rapids-removing Terraforming spell would work too.
