@Necroticaa Hey, why post a rant about the video here lol? also, i've seen your comment on another map, cube labyrinth, stop complaining, if you want to comment something negative at least give some feedback on what the map maker could do to improve, and theres no point commenting about the video on the map workshop page lol

@Sniper_11 Yeah, controls are slightly strange in 2D, but I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks for your support! :)

Again a nice work Lord Calamari! Its enjoyable and funny. The only problem was for me the controlling. Its pretty hard. But its solveable if you practising:) . And 1 more thing about the graphics, its kinda weird:) but I suppose its not your fault.

@AlbatrossCafe Thank you for the feedback, unfortunately, there is no way to restart a level that I know of, but I will try and make it so you respawn in the lobby after death, and can just progress to the next level. Will work on that as soon as I can as I am away atm.

cool idea, and decently fun, but no easy way to reset a level and if you die you have to start over from the beginning?? Make it so that if you lose you restart the level or at least on the lobby, not having to reload the entire map.

@The Lazy Procrastinator Yes there is a mario easter egg already in the game, thats partly where I got the inspiration from, however, It I decided to spice mine up a little with moving platforms, custom sounds, gold blocks, and of course, the 2D camera. Plus I made an extra two levels :)

Isn't the map (not the 2D camera) already in the game?
You know, the mario easter egg you can find by goin through a pipe on a roof?

Glad you enjoyed! I didn't know you could do it that way, I just didn't set the movie type as anything, I just kept it as 'none'. I actually discovered this effect while working on another map, I hadn't set the movie type and realised I could still walk around and I was like O.O... must create 2D MARIO xD

Awesome map.

To make this effect, create a movie,
Set it as cutscene, add a camera then expand
Movie type settings and uncheck FreezePlayer
So that you can still play while the movie
Is playing.

I tried to make I with save, but whenever the player died, it would mess up the whole level. Basically the player would resoawn at the start of the level, but offscreen as you movie would just continue if you died. Thanks for the awesome support though!!! I'm really looking forward to your playthrough!

I died a few times but I enjoyed it so much. I know if you enter this in the next contest you will win. As soon the devs see this they're going to freak out. You literally broke the steam workshop. XD You my sir are a genius! I filmed the video and it will go up soon! Love it so so much! Will you make other maps like this, longer, maybe with saves? (the no saves were brutal but thats how Mario is) :D
