How exactly does this help with maintaining the loyalty of other parties ?

can you make gravitas action won't increase if we use them, my gravitas cost to education and marriage from 10-1400, which is unbearable and fun depicting from devs, pls make it calm down, the devs are all drunk, they make their rules, made it utterly broke unplayable at all

You're making it sound like you bought her at a store.

not sure how to fix it, but if you want try it and release it as a special DEI version I'm cool with that. not being lazy but just got this new kid and all my time is donated to her

Hello, i have DEI installed and it's working with the Kingdom of Macedonia, but not with the Roman Republic, probably because they don't have the same scale of popularity (Eg. instead of "Peerless" they have "Outright Tyrant over the Senate"). Can you fix this and make the mod working also for Rome? Thanks in advance.

AngyLeopardKahn 12 Dec, 2017 @ 12:19am
possible update for power and politics? ive been stuck at a 33-37% with rome and i need to become an empire
Alexander Rahl 6 Feb, 2017 @ 6:42pm
i dont mind the gravitas thing honestly.
i mean, why shouldnt i be charismatic?
why shouldnt the family going out and kicking much @$$ for the glory of (insert faction here) be more respected than the other political couch potatoes? lol
scottfree001  [author] 6 Feb, 2017 @ 2:22pm
Destroy a faction's army and have more armies than them. Or, kill all their armies and then go to the negotiating table. That usually does the trick for me. Still working on the gravitas thing.
Alexander Rahl 2 Feb, 2017 @ 6:06pm
ive been looking for a while, but i can't find any.
is there anyway someone can make a mod or direct me to one, that gives a large diplomatic bonus to the player's faction?
My issue is when i play factions that have multiple subjects available for a league, confederacy etc. and despite my clear military and economic superiority, they almost always decline.
And i would prefer to play the iberian minor factions with the ability to unify them faster.
(Iberian tribes tend to have the same three units for the first many turns making battles more of a bloody rock, paper, scissors, than a diverse strategy)

yea, gravitas accumulation is too ridiculous....please fix this.
velkieryodst 24 Apr, 2016 @ 7:30pm
Can it work on DEI?
scottfree001  [author] 26 Mar, 2016 @ 5:34pm
I'll look into it. The main idea was to give you some control (if you do A, B will happen) and make the results matter. Still, I will see what I can do.
General Jack Ripper 24 Mar, 2016 @ 8:07pm
Well, it's very easy to build yourself up to maximum political level, perhaps institute a Gravitas reduction each level you climb? I'm not sure, I'm not a modder.
scottfree001  [author] 24 Mar, 2016 @ 6:43am
any suggestions on what to change?
General Jack Ripper 20 Mar, 2016 @ 9:53pm
I've tried out this mod, and I do appreciate it, but it seems to drastically unbalance gameplay.

update! Radically increased the gravitas you get for promotions so your influence changes seem to make sense :) let me know what you think.
scottfree001  [author] 20 Nov, 2015 @ 5:50pm
update! Now your influence affects how many turns to complete building throughout your empire :)

@flip241: i don't know. It doesn't alter any files, just adds a few bonuses. so, more than likely it will work with anything
SukeBear 4 Nov, 2015 @ 8:19pm

And thank you everyone for trying the mod. I never thought such a simple mod would get so much love. THANKS :)
scottfree001  [author] 4 Nov, 2015 @ 3:45pm
roger that funkybullshrimp. I figure if you are politically powerful, people will fear/admire you and thus not steal from your coffers. If you are politically weak, and people have little confidence in your abilities, be it to protect them when needed or enforce the law, they will try to get over on you.
Handiry 4 Nov, 2015 @ 1:07pm
#Looee, well in my view I wouldn't see the reason to be corrupt when the party I support and work for/am alligned to is doing well and raking in the benefits for everyone. being corrupt when the big wigs are making everything amazing seems pointless, you can reap the benefits of their efforts :).
benny 4 Nov, 2015 @ 8:19am
Shouldnt the influence increase the corruption to reflect on it realistically?
