I loved the mod but I changed the damage of the missile units in my game by half and now it's perfect and balanced.

it s a submod for dei, so yes it s compatible and it should mostly show matched combat.

yes, basically they can only throws few javelins. In the other hand elite archers can shots arrows for long time + distance for just slight less damage. There are also other stats that makes elite archers resist more when they finish the arrows compared to those strong javelins throwers 😂. Anyway I think this is great because it makes every unit useful , specially in early campaign.

I like this mod a lot, the battles feels more deadlier and realistic. But when considering archer and javelin units, they're the meta. Even the most common "regional archer unit" becomes overpowered, with the possibility to annihilate elite units. So the question is... how I should feel when elite archers units feel less powerful than the cheapest archer units? What is the difference, only the "shots per minute" ratio?

I agree with iDatedVoorhaut, i think you should consider more seriously fatigue system. I think it will make your mod more interesting. Tho i appreciate your work.

This is intentional but I made some changes recently, try to update it. Units now should rout after 80/90 % of the single army or entire army is destroyed. Not less

thank you for updating this wonderful mod. I did fear CA will forever break mods with authers also abandoning with it to. Would have never guessed they would meddle with rome 2 after soo long.
