But yes - that most likely one of the very few water mods out there that might work with those shallows out of the box.
I'll try to update my green water this weekend. If it's still not to your satisfaction after that I'll take a look at the shallows. :)
If it's problematic, default 512p would do fine.
At the beginning AoE had a lot more performance problems than it has now, so I always tried to make my mods as small as possible (you can find mods out there that have like 80 mb of just terrains, this mod already covers ak and a lot more objects than just terrains and still is at ~12 mb).
There also have been requests to do more smooth terrains, for the more pixelated ones tend to make units less recognizable. I say pixelated for the terrain is made out of tiles that have 512x512 pixels - so even when doing larger terrain textures (and my sources all are in 512x512 right now), they will be shrinked to that size ingame automatically. You can achieve a little more detail that way, but it makes the mod way larger in size - especially compared to the result.
So - I can take a look at this, but I can't promise anything. :)
I'll try. ;)
If two or more mods do change the same files, for each file the mod with the highest priority changing it will 'win'.
This mo is completelly comnpatible to AK.
Just asked for there are many possibilities ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=177352680 ).
But I'll upgrade my ressource icon mod soon.
For the bamboo - the old one had some light outlines I didn't like. This one is just more green and vivid. Like the oaks, they have more color too. But you can easily subcribe to one of my other tree mods and give it a higher priority than this mod. :)
Btw. thanks for this feedback! Critical feedback really does help me to further improve my stuff. Right now I have several things waiting for beeing done - but I might adjust the bamboo slightly when they are done.
Thing is - I was officially asked by Pyz0n to delete it - therefore I won't publish another one now...
I just don#t know if they might have survived your uninstallation - but I suppose then they didn't? :(
I don't know, but you may be lucky and the steam folder for a games download content wasn't deleted too for AoE...
All downloaded content for AoE is in this folder:
T:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\221380
In this folder are other folders named with numbers that match the mods ids in steam (they are shown in a mods url).
For I deleted those mods from steam I can't just tell you the right folder - but in case there aren't too many and the old download contents survived - you'll find the soundtrack in one of those folders.
Otherwise you can enable it manually really easy.
