Report a translation problem
I looked at the video from the orbital bomber you mentioned. That looks nice. I was thinking about using GetFreeDestination to find targets. I will put it on my to do list.
About the communication part: That might work except for 2 problems:
1) Antenna range, you can't reach the other side of the planet with a message (unless you have a relay), you can with a missile. So a single earthbound station cannot do this alone.
2) Antenna's make you a target. Laser Antenna's would be better, but then you would need to use LOS which is impossible for distances above a few km.
Other than that, sure, a sensorbomb might work. The main problem is the limited antenna communication.
Is tere Any way to use the GetGPS location function used in Several programs on the workshop combined with antennas or relay satellites, to allow for remote target aquisition? I.e grab coordinates of the target with a scout ship and then remotely launch the icbm at that target? This would likely also allow re-targeting mid flight, should the original target move.
Would be awesome!
