I updated the cruise missile world. Load the world and try it yourself. If you don't understand how to do some of the stuff, the second video shows it pretty clearly.

It certainly would and it is the sort of thing I like to make.

Awesome :-D Well I have followed you - looking forward to your future projects. The below idea is beyond my abilities to program - but let me know if I can be of any assistance, and if you take up the "cause". A self deploying satellite network and ICBM launcher would be...redic. haha

Something like that could work. I'm working on multiple things atm. I will be revisiting this though, depending on the ideas I get.

I was thinking using antenna relays in orbit. In theory, your script could be used to send a relay to a fixed position in orbit - or a collection of relays. So first step would be to deploy the relays automatically; and then, fire the missile from the scout ships remote, using the relays in orbit. Once target is destroyed the relays could be recalled.

Hi there,

I looked at the video from the orbital bomber you mentioned. That looks nice. I was thinking about using GetFreeDestination to find targets. I will put it on my to do list.

About the communication part: That might work except for 2 problems:

1) Antenna range, you can't reach the other side of the planet with a message (unless you have a relay), you can with a missile. So a single earthbound station cannot do this alone.

2) Antenna's make you a target. Laser Antenna's would be better, but then you would need to use LOS which is impossible for distances above a few km.

Other than that, sure, a sensorbomb might work. The main problem is the limited antenna communication.

Speaking of the below- some code similar to this may do the trick? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566469564

Brilliant!!

Is tere Any way to use the GetGPS location function used in Several programs on the workshop combined with antennas or relay satellites, to allow for remote target aquisition? I.e grab coordinates of the target with a scout ship and then remotely launch the icbm at that target? This would likely also allow re-targeting mid flight, should the original target move.

Would be awesome!

This is a work in progress, but it already works quite well. Just click the left button and the launcher will fire at 3 targets. If you want it to be faster, convert to creative mode. Then you don't have to wait a minute to charge the battery. Or just watch the video
