Can you port this over to the UE4 version of this game?

Please, make a "Free Candy" version of it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Gretawyneth Paw-troll 30 Mar, 2016 @ 6:44am
Wonder how big can the engine be.....8 liter?

I tried this mod and it's good, I love it. Please make more car body mods.

I went with the short wheelbase 1975 Econoline as a base for this, so it's a realistic wheelbase for small vans, but I understand what you mean. I tried to give it morph options to be made similar to a Vandura, but an even shorter nose is not an option. I don't commit to any requests, but a 60s van with a flat nose could potentially be a future project, but there's no rush since there already is a 60s van available (though a European one).

I know this is kinda a request sort of thing (which I apologize if I'm requestin' when you don't take requests)... I was wondering if you could also do a more compact version as well, like the old '60s and '70s vans. It's just a little too long for that style of van... Would be pretty killer too if it had the morph ability to make it a flat-nose like the old flat-nose '60s Econolines...

iunno. I just feel a little uncomfortable with the wheelbase, and feel like there might need to be a shorter wheelbase version so people can really go wild those '70s custom shagmobiles. Past that, pretty good work so far. Looking forward to what else you've got in store. :P

thansk for the model and support

I unfortunately don't have a fix for the front wheels going too far, it's something to do with the game programming and mirrors that overlap the arches (it's on some vanilla bodies, too). The only "fix" is to not offset them too far. But I'm glad the rear arch issue was resolved!
Pleiades 1 Dec, 2015 @ 4:35pm
Ok after messign with the body for some reason it working again but now the front wheels goes past the arches https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566742192

Yes i have on both and still to no avail the front wheels can be fully offest and made wider
thecarlover  [author] 1 Dec, 2015 @ 3:43pm
So your wheel width is limited to 225 and you can't offset them when the wheel arches are stretched outward?
I tried it with the workshop download and I don't have that issue, on both the cargo and passenger versions. The only issue I'm aware of is that when extending the front doors far enough forward, the front wheels can be offset well beyond the arches, but that's what happens when the mirror goes over the wheelarch and there is no solution for it. Have you tried extending the wheel arches further, or are they as far as they go?

Im having a problem that the rear wheel fairs dont effect back wheel size i cant get bigger than 225 and cant extend it to be flush

wow perfect! I love those van

Sounds good man! Keep up the good work. Absolutely loving the work you've done so far.
thecarlover  [author] 27 Nov, 2015 @ 7:07am
Right now my project is a 60s Lincoln Continental, and after that I'm considering a half passenger/half cargo variant of this van, and maybe even a pickup, but I was thinking of making a station wagon of some kind at some point, so it's a possibility.
Binaural Queef 27 Nov, 2015 @ 2:08am
Hate to be that guy asking requests, but is there any chance you'd be able to try and recreate a Volvo 850 wagon body? Someone already made the rear lights for it, and all that's really missing is a body.
thecarlover  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:20pm
No need to download it through Steam, I added the file path to manually place it to in the thread. It goes in the same place as any steam download.
DIAX 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:14pm
I'll just wait for it to (perhaps) come to steam. I'd be interested in making an F1 van.
thecarlover  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:12pm
It's not as polished (no new thumbnail and such) and set to 2016 model year, but the .zip is in the thread.
DIAX 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:10pm
Waitwaitwait...
Dude, put the mid engined variant in the steam release LOL.
That's fucking brilliant.
thecarlover  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:08pm
I doubt it can take a V12 (it easily swallows a huge V8, however), but the mid-engine variant that was requested has an engine bay going from the rear axle to the front seats. That's available in the thread.
DIAX 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:03pm
Hell yeah. This beta better come soon. It's been 4 hours and they said a few. LAAAAAATE.
Jk, but anyways, you better bet I'm about to put a V12 in this van body of yours.
thecarlover  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 7:01pm
I'm waiting on the upcoming beta to see what new bodies are in there. If it's not in the next update (and I doubt it will be, but I still want to see), I'm looking into making a 1961 Lincoln Continental, both hardtop and convertible.
DIAX 26 Nov, 2015 @ 6:59pm
Do some more! This is a brilliant start to your modding legacy.
thecarlover  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 6:58pm
Thanks! Perseverance will only get me so far, I couldn't have done it without the help of the community.
DIAX 26 Nov, 2015 @ 5:28pm
Brilliant work ethic man. I followed the thread dedicated to this thing, and I'm just impressed at your problemsolving
