My guards doesn`t rest anymore they just walk there.

An armed guard in a prison wouldn't carry such an inaccurate and ammunition-eating weapon as a Mini Uzi. They would carry shotguns and heavy assault rifles. I might subscribe to this mod, but I think an armed guard carrying an Uzi or just a revolver is a bit silly! It also seems to reportedly have some issues with the dispensing of other things to guards such as tazers and vests.

IM GOING TO HAVE TO UN-SUBSCRIBE. THIS IS REDICLOUS. GUARDS CANT GET VESTS OR TAZERS. SNIPERS CANT GET RIFLES.

HELP. make it so sniper can get thier rifles from the new armoury because right now my snipers are useless. either make it so we can use the new and old armoury or make it so snipers spawn with rifles.

any chance u could make it so that each new guard has their own deployment option, so u can specify which type of guard goes on each patrol route?

HUGE BUG- when you make the new armoury it makes it so you can't build the old armoury and the old armoury is the only place where snipers get their guns. so right now my snipers can't snipe becuase they don't have guns!

It says that tazers are broken in the description, read up on your mods before sub-a-dubbing, in my case, I don't need that since I don't plan using tazers or body armor, as I have Combine Architect and it shits all over their outfits.

yeah spotted an issue, when you unlock taser rollout or body armour the only way guards will go get them is by turning this mod off, please fix it i do love having assualt rifles in my nursery

You are welcome to re-purpose code if you want, though if you do just copy it you should give credit to your source. However, I would not use my AR guard code if I were you, as they will just go get a shotgun immediately if you don't add the fake armory too, and if you are doing that then you are essentially stealing my mod. My suggestion would be to make a separate mod for the re textures and for each of the features, then have a collection with all of them- that way, if you wanted, you could just add this mod to the collection and not need to do any extra work to add things someone else already made.
Anyway, it's your mod, and great artists steal. Good luck on your modding adventure! :tgrin:

Fun fact for anyone who cares: I was working on giving K.O.'d guards their weapons back, and I accidentally made an infinite fountain of assault rifles. Oops :)

@Calum_MacDonald It depends on the mod, though I would assume not. I am hoping to change the structure of this mod slightly in a way that restores the default armory, as having a new one causes all sorts of problems.

@Sulu_the_Wooluu The person who made the prison would have to have used the mod, and the escapee would need it installed. So yes, to an extent.

@Dr.Smiley actually the assault rifle isn't a shotgun it does everything you'd expect like only shooting one bullet per shot.

Er Shotgun and Pistol = Same rate if I'm not mistaken...

Assault rifle? is just a SHOTGUN, Just with a new skin and automated.

taser is a pistol with a shotgun shell... What?

lol so... OK- Anyways, Yes it is (pretty sure) the pistol is just a weaker and less likely to kill your prisoner with One shot- like the Shotgun.


Uzi is a Mystery to me- never seen it in Sandbox. :guard: Keep up the good work tho

I believe the pistol is weaker but has a higher rate of fire. I will check next time I'm digging around.

Do you know what the difference is between the pistol and the shotgun apart from the shotgun fires multiple pellets (also the uzi, since it's not usually usable in game is it)? The pistol and shotgun seem to behave very similar to me. I'm unfamiliar with Prison Architect's files and I haven't had any luck finding their stats. Thanks. Nice mod as well, it's very good :)

@DanGreat121 I'm afraid that's not possible right now. The game is hard-coded to send armed guards back to the armoury if they don't have their default weapon.
