working fine for me, but the torque settings are set to zero as default. Needs adjusting to work

hey could you do me a favor ? i just got an idea and need someone who can edit some values, can you make a copy and paste version of the regular rotor (with renaming that the regular rotors don't get affected) that has a way extended limit to how faar outwards you can moove the rotor head ? so you could basically could have levitating grids around your main grid like this buged ship https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=897628879) PLEASE tell me if it is possible

During my play through these did not work. Was able to build them just fine and they appeared to have ports, however I could not make them extend or retract. Tried tearing them down and building them again but no dice. And yes, I made sure the piston head was also built.

Not sure if it's a mod conflict or what, but I'll be passing on these in the near future.

Whisper...check the axis and off axis torque values. They are 0 by default. I have to change them every time I place a piston.

Hi, I envy you for your modding skills.

Can you create a piston for our server (and for everyone else who is interested), that is 350 meters long when extended and maybe 15 to 20 meters long when reduced?

Mod works so far , though the starting impulse values start at 0 N instead of 50N which makes it look like it doesn't work.
The piston movement is janky though, so if you're trying to make an elevator try to have magnet boots on or have low speeds

Any idea why I added this mod to an existing world, I can place the piston but it has no texture whatsover nor I can toggle him on? Is it updated right? What I'm doing wrong?

Further - I attribute the comments of "not working" to complete player incompetence.

Have you welded the piston head? Just as with the rotor, the piston has two separate parts which must be welded in order for items to pass through the conveyor feed.

Have you checked you axis values? Have you checked inertial tensor settings?

If you don't understand how to properly use pistons, rotors, etc - then don't claim the problem is with a mod, when clearly the problem lies with your own incompetence and inability to do fundamental research on the game mechanics.

It works - I've been using it just fine, including the 1x1x5 large piston with absolutely no issues. Some of you need to check for other mod conflicts, but this mod works just fine and as intended.

Still works but kills sim speed by 15 to 20% on empty server. I will miss this one.

hm the conveying of the pistons seems to be broken.

I added conveyor junctions at start and bottom, but no material can go through

I got them to work. There are two setttings that are set to zero after you place the pistons. I compared these to regular pistons and noticed the difference. Once I set them to the same as the regular pistons it worked. Same as deathray33 . I'm rather happy with them as a matter of fact.

Nevermind, the settings are just defaulted to not allow it to move. Changing the Max Impulse to something above 0 and it works fine.

You have to change the force slider. But beware, previously placed pistons may explode.

You have to change some of the settings on the pistons themselves for them to extend. They still work fine.

Seems yesterday's physics overhaul update has broken the pistons in this pack.
They no longer extend at all.

Hello! First, I want to say, I love this mod. However, I tried putting Conveyer Junctions on both ends of the long piston...and, nothing would transfer through.

i noticed when you use vanilla pistons with timer blocks that you can increment the extend and retract which defaults to 0.5M but with this pack they default to 1.7M.
Is there a way to control the amount it increments?
