To "dallarmiswan":
When you decide to have 480 men/ unit, the 'main_units_table' should describe the right amount of 'mounts' (horses/camels/...). If this should not be the case, many 'riders' and their mounts will give conflict, resulting in riders to be doublle on horseback, or having no mounts at all. I'm not supporting 480 men/unit for many reasons. You can always look in my workshop for a reasonable kind of 'men/unit', regarding your wish as you want them to be. Keep in mind that a unit with 480 men/unit is not 'workable' in many ways (embarking on a ship, keeping guard on ramparts).

The newest upgrade of Creative Assembly is rather drastic. This is why all around the community modders are working very hard to keep their mods working as they did before. Many tables have been changed. The changes, made by Creative Assembly, forces modders around the world to alter their mods, which in some cases could take some time. I can only hope for you, subscribers, to have a little patience. I'm working very hard to get my mods to be compatible with the newest 'patch/DLC'. The upgrades should be launched by 16th of DECEMBER.

Hi Regnator, sorry but I've not noticed that you have answer to me. I don't understand what you mean, but it gives me an idea. I've activate a mod that brings the number of man to 480 per units. But it seems don't act on cavalry. For exemple, the Equites unit vanilla remains 80 men. So I don't know

Please make sure you have only one variant of "Roman units" active (+ DATA, for the textures). If you have more than one version active, then the game could take the number of men (soldiers) from one version and the number of mounts from another, wich gives conflict, resulting in 'mounted units' having no mount at all. Please keep me informed if it still shouldn't work.

It seems to be this one

Hi, i've installed some of your mod but when they are active i lost all the horse of the mounted units, even those who are of the original game, which can give this problem?

I think, since you use a lot of mods, the best way to determine which mod causes crashes is to play my mod (units + DATA) and then one of your mods listed below. "KLA's new Roman Generals Mod" could give a conflict, the others should be compatible (little chance that they use the same ID numbers). May I ask you to try this out? When you have determined which mod gives conflict, let me know and then we can alter a few things so the mods will be compatible.

I have a little experience with that, mostly combining pack files, reenabling units in custom battles from mods: basically just shifting and editing existing tables.

These should be the mods involving ROMAN UNITS in my modpack file
Tenebrosi Vigilum (The Dark Watchers)
SGL70's Elite Units All In One Mod (patch 15)
Roman Archer Units Advance
PdguruRomansPlus 9/24 and Link to Version 4.4
KLA's new Roman Generals Mod (ALL campaigns)
Heavy Roman Navy & expansion with new formations
Gothic Royal Legionaries

Others:
DEI
Radious
a shitton of other unit mods, i can try to list all if you need em..
thanks in advance

The units I created are a work around for DeI, so they would be compatible with that mod (DeI version), and therefore they don't replace them, see them as add on units. In order to solve your crashes (incompatibilities with other mods), yes, I would appreciate to list them up here. I will take a look at these mods and see what we can do about them. One mod I know about is 'Imperial legions of Rome, which also uses a Roman generals surplus (it seems like the author added extra generals, but they are not really used, we can work around that). I hope you're a bit familiar with modding, that could really help (use of PackFileManager). I 'll explain it all to you if you don't. Together we will solve this

yes i have tried them. It is usable with DEI(using DEI version)
Something in my modpack causes crashes.. if it could be fixed could i chuck the mod names here? there are a lot of mods :/
Also do your mods(this and the other) replace any units in the game/dei ? dont seem to have late hastati or principes from dei
REGNATOR  [author] 17 Jan, 2017 @ 1:56pm
this mod comes with a sub-mod, that contains the unit numbers. Make sure you have only one of those sub-mods selected (ticked on) in your mod manager. This goes for both 'Roman units' and 'Legio Imperialis'. Those two sub-mods must contain the same unit numbers, otherwise there could be a conflict. The mod 'Roman units' is known not to be compatible with some other mods (not of my making). I suggest you try to run the game with only 'Roman units' (with number of men/unit of your choosing) and 'Roman units DATA'. Then you can try to add your other mods one by one and see if it works. Let me know which mods give conflict and we can try to make them compatible anyway.

legio imperialis mod works fine, but this &/or any roman unit mod of whatever unit size multiplier doesnt work, the game just gets stuck at the loading screen..any help? I've already altered my campaign values, what else do i do?
REGNATOR  [author] 23 Apr, 2016 @ 6:22am
Just wait a while, I 'd say, that mod is (almost) finished and will be launched very soon. Beta test are satisfying, so... But the mod will be for legions with 60 units ! The other factions have armies with 240 men/unit, so the amount of soldiers per army will be the same (AI can only field 41 units per army). For another version with just vanilla unitsize and 20 units/army you 're gonna have to wait a little longer.

I take this opportunity to say you I really love your mods and I would like to play your Ave_units mod with vanilla size units, so could you say me what mod I have to download for playing your units with 160 infantry men...80 cavalry...and so on instead of 180 or 200 men...
REGNATOR  [author] 18 Jan, 2016 @ 1:10pm
I had the same issue once with downloading a mod and the reason was that I had too many. Maybe that's the reason why ?
LordAzzKrakK 18 Jan, 2016 @ 10:07am
i can't even play this mod, It says that it is still updating... AFTER 10 MINUTES! What did i do wrong? I have all the other ones but this peticular one doesnt download properly.
