Its fascinating how some factions tends to forget technologies over time.

The Visigoths, once Iberized forgot or were forbidden the usage of the bow and the sling too, if I remember (because there was surely a law in Tribal Iberia about not using bow for warfare, under the consequence of death penalty).
Because when the Visigoths arrived in Iberia at the end of the Western Roman Empire they used bows, but now in AOC they do not.

Same for the Byzantines.
In the end of the 7th century they discovered the formula to make Greek Fire, but then, almost a century later, they forgot it, its like giving up a machine gun to stay with slings
I don't know if its intentional (chivalrous) or national amnesia but come on, it feels so weird.

I like the mod and it works, but I know can't seem to recruit regular shipsfor Sicily. I am using the two other Theme of Sicily Mods from you so I am not sure what the problem is. If you have any ideas about what the problem might be, please notify me. Thank you

Hello where can I find the file in the db to change the ships to a more stronger against flame, as just a few flaming arrow will easily take down a big ship with at least 200 man in it, "with just a few arrows, literally about 10 to 12 arrows, where can I find that folder please.

WHy ca din't add this unit? It is more accurate in the 8th century than the 5th century (original attila total war) the Greek Fire was invented during the 7th century

Hmm, not for Grand Campaign sorry since I dont play it as much anymore and Im finding AoC much more fun. I wouldn't know what to add.

Are you going to add new ships to the Grand Campaign any time soon? I find the Viking & Desert factions to be lacking in decent ships.

Update: added a dromon with light crossbowmen, and a dromon with crossbow marines and a cheiroballistra. These have new, matching units cards!

Yeh, it bugged me that things like the fire ship wasn't included. They also removed crossbows in europe which diminished the unit variety to me.

I'm going to work on adding more land units to the Theme of Sicily (with new unit cards, such as faction crossbowmen, cheiroballista, etc).

Also, I think you should edit the naval_units.loc and units_short_description.loc too - The Unit Name's still blank.

Hey Moon Hoplite! I was planning to do this also, but you beat me to it! Well, my mod is a much larger overhaul, so that would take more time to finish. Say, would you kindly make some more ship unit cards for AoC?

I always been thinking, so many made Unit Packs, but none doing ship mods?

Its even stranger, base Attila have Fire Siphon ship for all cultures ages before they existed, but AoCharlemagne doesn't have them for Eastern Roman Themes? Thats embarassing.
