Interesting concept but ultimately it just looses depth and immersion which I know was not it's intention. Although it was added to vanilla, it like many things need to be corrected by mods to correct the loss of immersion the new lighting ultimately created. Hopefully a comfortable middle ground will be found in the future because the lighting mod has potential still. It just needs balance so as not to loose the immersive qualities that attracted people to NS2 in the first place. :tsalogo:

TerritoryTracker is spamming error codes into my console. All other mods were disabled.

I have something similar with siege to flicker the main room lighting and send waypoints to both sides :D

@Sam Yup, well aware of what Samus has done. As my first comment stated, this started based off the work Samus did. I had to revamp / rewrite a lot of it to make it work more dynamically though. It's still originally based from his work though. Credit given, where credit due.

No problem :D I tried a test run on my server today with 20 people and everyone really liked the mod! but... it broke just about every single mod I am running XD

Alright man! I played your mod on a server and was just blown away at how much more immersive it made the game. It always seemed strange that everything was always well lit, even a room with a hive growing in it and the power out.

I never thought a change like this would make such a difference, but it does and it is pretty awesome. I can easily see this becoming a popular mod if you have success with it.

@Sam Glad you like it thus far. There's still a _lot_ work left to do. I haven't tested it with any other mods yet, as I'm only concerned with getting the core functionality done and working consistently right now. Once all that's hammered out, I'll look at making it more compatible with other mods (and Graphics settings).

Really awesome mod! Glad the trello inspired you to make it :D

I wanted to let you know that it seems this mod conflicts with the mod Epsilon:

Specifically the plugin within Epsilon called "PreGamePlus".

I am not seeing any errors on my server but for some reason your mod blocks PreGamePlus, If you can fix it, I would love to run your mod on my server!

@twiliteblue It's super..SUPER rough right now...I'm still working on it. Lot's of problems with it atm. Basically, I'm basing this off work Samus did and running with it. It's all pertaining to this trello card https://trello.com/c/e9gw1usd heh, the name of this mod is a bit misleading.
