Can you make some more Chicago housing authority buildings. These go perfect on the inner city parts as if you zoom in good enough you can see the outline of these buildings in your outter suburbs as well. #Excellent

@AJ3D
Hi There AJ :^)
Noticed that your Robert Taylor buildings are no longer filling up with the 150 residences I have them RICO-set for....I'm lucky to get 40 residences filled .... most of them hoover around 12.

I suspect this might be because the buildings have not been updated to work with the GREEN Cities free updates that automatically hit our computers when the DLC came out, as that was about when I noticed the problem.

Would it be terribly hard for you to update the buildings? I really don't want to have to exchange them for other buildings that are updated because I have whole neighborhoods of them on each of my 5 islands.....

Help, please?
Bosnian Goon 25 May, 2017 @ 7:46pm
why make it a unique building

just level up your industry. Then they accept even highly educated workers
Beth2020 21 Jan, 2017 @ 7:47am
I'm trying to find a group of buildings that will REMAIN FULL OF UNEDUCATED WORKERS.

I need this function in a building so my industry areas will stop screaming for workers every three hours because all the buildings I placed on the cheapest dirt roads with NO facilities and NO parks are STILL changing from originally full of all uneducated workers to full of mostly educated and highly educated workers.

I need to keep a neighborhood of uneducated workers for my industrial area.

Will this complex of buildings hold it's UNEDUCATED WORKERS housing or will it rapidly ratchet up to housing half full of educated workers and eventually turn into a building full of well educated and very well educated.....which won't work for me.

You never did any of the buildings you said you were going to make, you abandoned us.

Why?
Bosnian Goon 16 Aug, 2016 @ 9:06pm

Thanks for the feedback.

This lot doesn't require the mod anymore, so Ill start relplying on the mod comment thread to better consolidate discussion on Ploppable RICO mod issues there. So check the Ploppable RICO mod page for my response :)

AJ- I figured it out. The problem occurs when the residential mesh levels up. For my buildings, when this happens, the subnet no longer becomes invisible but becomes a tower in the front centre of the footprint of the building. At that point, the button no longer becomes available.

Hey AJ- I have auto-buldoze as well. Thanks for letting us know how it works in the background. I'll keep a close eye on it and see if I notice a fire. It has always happened with households in the residence.
AJ3D  [author] 30 Dec, 2015 @ 6:45pm
Under the hood, it’s actually two buildings. The unique building is the mesh you see and select, and the residential building is an invisible sub building with an invisible mesh. When you click the little button, you select the residential sub building.

When the residential building burns down or becomes abandoned, it won’t show anything and the remover mod will delete it. I’m going to try to tweak things so the residential building can’t burn down, won’t accumulate garbage, and can’t become abandoned. I think I can set things up so the unique building main lot will take care of those things.

I may also need to get in touch with the author of that mod, and see if I can get the mod to spare the plopped buildings.

Automatic Bulldoze, yep. I never noticed a fire in any of them yet though
AJ3D  [author] 30 Dec, 2015 @ 6:33pm
Thanks for the feedback.

Are you guys by chance using a mod like auto demolish for abandoned or burned down buildings?

I think the residential buildings might be burning down or becoming abandoned, and the the game is demolishing the lots. I can turn off the fire for the residential, but need to do more research to figure out how to disable abaonment.

Thanks again for taking time to test things and report issues.

I'm having that david's issue as well. I've only had it happen to some of them at the moment, (usually to like 2 at a time) regardless of what order/time I placed them down originally. It also only takes a single day/night cycle for some to revert back to Unique and everybody moves out~ Using Windows 8.1
Nice work though! :highlvl:
AJ3D  [author] 29 Dec, 2015 @ 5:32pm
Its possible the residential sub building burned down. Does this happen to all the plops after a set time frame?

Thanks for the feedback. I know there are a lot of things that need fixing, so I appricate you guys taking time to play with the mod and report issues.
david.thanh 29 Dec, 2015 @ 4:48pm
So I place the asset and I am able to get it to switch to residential mode, but after some time it reverts back to a unique building without the residential icon up top to click. I can give you more details if you want/ have not experienced this before. Using a mac.

@ MIza:

Thanks man, I'm glad to hear its working.
Ill turn off garbage accumulation for the monument, and see if I can tweak anything on the residential AI to minimize garbage output.

@david:
Yea, so far.

@Super:
Thanks man!

Junna 29 Dec, 2015 @ 5:20am
Seems to work well, but garbage accumulation is a bit fast. I assume this is because of how densities are handled in residential buildings or something.
SuperSizeMe 28 Dec, 2015 @ 6:40pm
Nicely done.
david.thanh 28 Dec, 2015 @ 10:37am
I'll test. Is this the only PloppableRICO so far?
Junna 28 Dec, 2015 @ 5:13am
Ohhhh! This is rad! I actually made a model of this type building myself, but never got around to texturing it. ;3 yay ploppables!
