Mod is currently breaking the new Version of Build 39. The Vehicles have no storage anymore due to this mod.

I personally create all the models and textures for the mod and learned how to do that like week ago, so models for weapons are still in progress. Changelog contains info what models are already ready and in-game. I've made most of the models already and they come in next update.

What comes to multiplayer, we focus first to kinda finish the mod itself before starting to test and make it work in multiplayer mode. Mod gets a lot of big and small updates now so people can play and test it, report bugs make suggestions etc. so we know are we "driving the right direction". Server owners wouldn't neither like to keep updating their server files fast as we're doing updates so we save them from that, also mod updates usually would break players multiplayer spawn cause of the changes. We're introducing the PZE multiplayer in the Beta state of mod and opening official PZE servers via Onion Warriors gaming community's dedicated host computer but also give the files for server hosts to include PZE on their server.

We've claimed that this is not compatible with other mods for certain reasons. 1) We are doing this mod to expand the vanilla to be "better" and players could get more out of vanilla gameplay. 2) Because of reason 1 it's not even mentioned to work with other mods since we mod the vanilla and kinda do "devs work", we dont't focus on random or useless crap like many other mods.
But.. There's always an chance that PZE is compatible with other mods, it depends much about the mod's type. Since we've overrided original base scripts and LUAs strictly it usually breaks other mods.

Mod is updated to version 1.72 for game build 38.15!
Take a peak at change notes and starting new game is recommended, this update brings a lot of changes.

Hola! Build 38 is here and it made me take few steps back with the mod update, hopefully i get update out by this weekend.

Also i've spent time on modeling firearms and texturing them. New model for M4A1 Carbine coming, there's also model for silenced M4A1 Carbine. This means i try to fulfil requests you guys leave at the suggestions, so silencer can be attached into M4A1 Carbine in the future like Leviathan suggested, but there's gonna be little balancing work with that so it'll not be too over powered.

~8 hours of training with blender i would say it's usable for this purpose, i might could have started with something little easier example beretta but i decided to have some challenge, L96A1 model i made for test is so ugly that i'am going to re-make it later.

I've done loads of research about PZ model modding and tried make an test model to L96A1. Process was SUCCESS! Spent couple of hours learning blender again, made an model, textured it and exported it to the mod. This means i'll make custom models for all the mod weapons and probably for some of the vanilla items too example for crowbar. Big update also coming out soon, little bit more things to do. I just keep finding myself doing more and more little fixes etc. but we're making a good process here!

Clearly it's not caused by stone aged PC then :insfist: Probably some settings might help with the issue but i've done a lot of coding today and made lots of changes and improvements to get rid of that FPS dropping when game is loading mod content, also made some changes to make mod more update friendly, so when game gets update mod should still stay playable. Loads of things to come, pushing new update out as soon as i get everything finished and tested.

The work you have put into this mod is very much appreciated. I will have to tweak around with my game settings or try a different map. My computer is currently running a GTX 1080 with a i5-6600k with 32GB of ram so hopefully it isn't my comp haha! I will be looking out for the update. This is one mod I can not play the game without, doesn't feel complete without it! Fantastic work !:steamhappy:

I absolutely am considering it. I think it's a really great mod, that being said I don't want to rush you! I personally really like the realism of it and I think this would go great with the theme I'm trying to have as well. (Although the Solider might be a little strong imo, who wouldn't pick it!)

We tried to get PZExpanded up and running earlier on my communitys server but that wasn't so succesfull since nobody wasn't very familiar with Project Zomboid server hosting, so would be great to see our mod running on some server!
I am not sure yet how we're going to deal with the poison. Our current plan is to make it very unnoticeable so even the assasin himself can eat or drink something he have been poisoned by mistake if they get example confused which drink contains poison. "Karma has joined the server"

But in case you seriously consider PZExpanded would be the mod you've looking for your server, i could focus to finish poisons ASAP.

Ok. So the poison can't be made yet? I don't play singleplayer really, my server will be doing a hard reset soon and I was trying this one out to replace hydrocraft, as I think it's too unbalanced but I want more than vanilla.

Would the poisoned beverage have a poison symbol? Would there be anyway to tell if something was poisoned? I really like the concept.

Jere , unfortunately poisons are still very WIP and mainly mentioned to take a part in the multiplayer, so people can assasinate others by poisoning their drinks or foods. To be honest poison is useless in singleplayer unless you want long and painfull death caused by yourself and we're focusing now on many other things before finishing poison.

Leviathan , i've worked my ass off whole day coding the mod etc. and at first i was unable to find any stuttering before i made a test run with my laptop (my PC is OP clearly), it really does that when you enter the zone where's more or less items from PZE in containers. This isn't fully on us, they've made many changes in the codes in last patches and i've done a lot of tests and re-coding to make it run better and smoother, also found couple of bugs which came along when base code have been changed. Stay tuned, pushing an fixer update out soon as possible.

Is anyone else experiencing fps dips? Whenever I install this mod my game tends to drop fps randomly. I love this mod so hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Hey, cool mod! I was wondering how you make poison. I have the herbalist trait, I have an empty bottle and poisonous berries but I don't get the option to squeeze them. I also haven't been able to find a pipet, where should I look? Thanks

Greetings all of our mod users!

We've now published PZExpanded Alpha 1.6 for current game build (37.14). Mod should be now fully functional and playable again but new items etc. are not published yet in this update, we just wanted to make the mod work again so enjoy! We are sorry that we have been too busy to focus on this mod, but now we are going to give more of our precious time for this mod since there's so many users complaining that they're unable to play whole game because our mod was outdated, thanks for the support and interest about our mod.

Please inform us in case you found any bugs in the mod, we've quick tested it before publishing and no bugs nor errors found in that process.

Enjoy the mod & have fun! More things are on their way to come, example 44. Magnum ;)

Does this mod change how firing mechanics work at all? Or are shotguns still OP as hell in PvE, no matter your skill level? Also a comprehensive list of changes or modifications would be really cool, since I would like to know what I'm getting into by using this mod :)

landsknecht93 mod is currently not updated, it's unfortunately still running on 34.28 build.
We're planning to hit it back up when devs push the vehicle update out, we have great ideas to improve the mod but we need to wait till the update is out. There's also possibility that i'll update the mod for current build if i have time. Sorry but we have been very busy irl so this mod haven't got enough attention from us but great to see people are interested about the mod!

I think I am having an issue with this mod.
I am unable to open the crafting menu. I also get a red notification box in the bottom right.
If it is some kind of console that could tell what happened, I'd love to share the details if I knew how to open it. :s
I was only using this mod in the test by the way. :sadcthulhu:
