Impressive but imperfect. There are a lot of areas where you can only find out what to do by trial and error.

This was without any doubt the best Distance track I've ever played. Absolutely amazing!
So many cool things that needed to be approached differently from other Distance tracks.

Ty! It still need some work. Hope you like it even more :D

Ty! I'll fix the respawn point
Nope. No good way to avoid the ceiling, but you can use it in your favor

Nice update :) The ridge / stone pillar part now looks really cool, and making the dragon unskippable + shortening the 0g part was a good choice imho. Although now your map can be completed in under 3 minutes, which I'm not sure is what you wanted since you advertise it as a 5-6 minutes track :D a couple of issues:

- the respawn in the ringloop part (after ball#3 / stone pillar zone) is rotated up

- now that the dragon is unskippable, is there any way to *consistently* avoid hitting the ceiling at the end of its tail and messing up the direction you enter the teleport in? In my best run I was lucky and entered the teleport just right, but I've had some perfect runs f*ucked up by that and I was so pissed off...
FlamboyantMongoose 11 Feb, 2016 @ 7:19pm
excellent track
i had to try a few techniques to progress that no other track had ever required and the design was just great and clearly involved time and effort
keep it up

Oh, the freedom xD Well played, guys. Only 1 is totally unintended. Unfortunately some shortcuts will disappear or be hard to reach in next updates (not because I think you are cheating, I'll give the map more buildings).

@Look@it.go I don't know how bunny and monkey did it in particular, but this video shows how I did it: Youtube

I'm mostly having optimisation issues with dragon ball one, coming in too fast and managing to not Splode, when jumping up off the track away from the lasers and rings, on a curve that's too tight to easily leap from. The only other spot that could use improvement in my own run, is after the bluemetal work bridge, up to the tall ridge. I need some new way to reach the dragon ball on-top of that high-ridge (is that ball 3?) right now i fly up, and go through the checkpoint up there, then down the hill (that your supposed to come up) then power-slide a 180° to go up the ramp to it. That process is a time-eater with the sharp edges of ground surface. Where i jump from to initiate all this, is just after the bridge as the ground starts to curve downward. i usually enter first person mode just to assure my angles are accurate as i lift off.

@Thumpie Bunny Eve the only skip I used you didn't mention is the ringloop cut right after teleport#3, but it's really a minor one. Maybe I've got a better optimization on one or two of them. I'm guessing the skip to teleport#3, where do you jump from to reach it?

( @Look@it.go 0-979 of 2366 ) Don't make your dragon ball paths easier to see! The whole reason we all love your map is cause of the controversy that exists over skips, turtle boosting, "cheating" and torchets own words(interview) about "didn't want to make a game where your confined to the track, go off the track!" Them being there, and being a speedy option, entices people to learn about them and use them! then hunt the map to find more! It's the fact that you cant see them, but can see on the leaderboards such a wide variety of better times, that people dive back in and buzz with each other about where the secrets are!

Just be intuitive about doing more like this one! like do an EASTER one! Easters coming up! 12 Easter egg warps to make a dosen! :D Not everyone knows the relation to what 12 eggs makes, just like not everyone knows theres 7 dragon balls! *^p^* And if your even on when i am sometime, I'll show ya the path i take and how. If ya can keep up! *^-^*

( @Look@it.go 980-1610 of 2366) I Also saw your Software Illuminati Trophy last night and took a screen cap >;D I've not felt so good about finding a trophy since Krispy added Angie and I, to the Distathon challenge map. (I'm the cream-lopunny and shes the Tigress pulling my strings https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=528371634 )

The existence available skips, so many dragon ball warps hidden all over, and the tricky handling of 0G, and being eaten by Shen-Long (am i not spelling that right?) all makes your map a @1 hit! people are flooding your map, i trained 4 guys last night in ways to skip, and reach the dragon balls faster.
ThumpieBunnyEve 10 Feb, 2016 @ 1:41pm
( @Look@it.go 1611-2366 of 2366) You manage to keep a very non linear path, pretty darn linear, using both the warps, and the skips. So the illusion of total freedom is offered, and stripped away as people hone their skills for the absolute fastest time. and because theres such detail in the eastereggs, and detail in the map path (that dragon is ART!) multiple paths, and only low level difficulty on the main path, there is something for EVERYONE on your map. I'm really shocked that this was not made by a whole Team of developers plotting in meetings about the adding or tweaking the intrinsic dynamics of each path, and bringing them back together!

You've made a Gem! Study the facets that comprise it,
and cut another! ♥❤Please❣❥♡ (''')(/^‌‍⌔^\)(,,) ❀ ♡paw❤paws@♥

This is the best map I've played so far, I love it.. the art style and the lenght.
ThumpieBunnyEve 10 Feb, 2016 @ 1:00pm
( @RushingMonk3y ) I'd love to know where your knocking 5 seconds off the time with skips. one skip is apparently not so obvious for me. got the Go-Straight at the Turn-Right sign skip, The Green-Hexigon-Tube skip, and the BlueBridge to pinicles Ridge skip, Got the full dragon skip, and all the dragon balls long the way. But for 5 seconds, you know a skip i don't.
RushingMonk3y  [author] 10 Feb, 2016 @ 8:05am
My 3:17 time is also without TB-ing, just all 7 teleports + some obvious skips by regular flying. I don't think revealing the teleport locations is necessary btw, maybe the last one is a bit tricky but the others are not *that* hard to find.
Look@it.go  [author] 10 Feb, 2016 @ 7:24am
☢Plasmawario☢, if you are following the map from the beggining, you noticed that the first part of the map also had no buildings at all. I'm still trying to improve it, but I have something like 1-1.5h/day to "work" here :C Ty for the feedback! I hope you find it more interesting in the future :)

RushingMonk3y, I'm glad you liked it. Don't worry, I'll give it some "visual polishing". I keep asking myself if I should reveal some teleport locations that is too hard to find, but I don't know if its necessary.

OMG, Thumpie Bunny Eve! HOW? lol. Yes, I have ideas for other maps with hidden teleporters, but I'm afraid it's not coming out soon :c WIsh I had more time. Glad you liked it C:

Tell me, guys, how many teleporters did you find so far?

ThumpieBunnyEve 10 Feb, 2016 @ 1:04am
Oh! also, No Turtle-Boosting was required to achieve my 3:23.### time!
ThumpieBunnyEve 10 Feb, 2016 @ 1:02am
Please do more, with secret warp shortcuts just like this one please please! this was soo good! everyone i know plays this one over and over looking for all the Dragon Balls!
♥❤TY! Do More Hidden Warp Maps!❥♡♥
RushingMonk3y  [author] 9 Feb, 2016 @ 2:05am
@☢Plasmawario☢ Well it's true that this map could use some visual polishing. However I'd gladly take this map anyday over the (many) maps in the workshop that are visually impressing but super boring to drive through... I appreciated the routing/exploration experience this one offers through its unusual lenght with the many different locations and especially knowing beforehand the exact (and large) number of secret teleporters to find. The fact that they're actually numbered helps in knowing where to look for them instead of flying around semi-randomly between buildings looking for skips. Locations of said teleporters was pretty spot-on too in my opinion, with some pretty obvious ones and others cleverly hidden but not too frustrating to find. Really felt like a mini driving-adventure to me.
Plasmawario 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:52pm
I read the comments and expected something truely amazing, only to be let down; here's why:
The directional lighting (fog too), at some parts, was kinda bland and gave the area that boring old look. Another problem was where the virus saws would clip through the track while moving making it harder to spot them. The rest of the "problems" may be just person preference, but i'll still list them. The tracks had no end pieces to them, making it possible to see through the ends of the roads which look plane ugly. There were other parts where there were no buildings and it looked like you were driving through empty space (well technically you are). That was pretty much it. Other then that, my honest opinion was it looked like just a normal track to me. (except the dragon part which was pretty neat and unique. Good job on that).
Nynx 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:56am
the best track if seen yet ;)
Look@it.go  [author] 7 Feb, 2016 @ 5:57am
Wow! Thank you! I wish people that gave it a negative rate could say why :)
RushingMonk3y  [author] 6 Feb, 2016 @ 3:38pm
Holy shit, this map is absolutely amazing, developers should take some notes from this for the adventure mode. Great job!
