The ingame mod installer says it's incompatible with WotC?
Woofua De Gavqe (one-armed) 24 Oct, 2024 @ 5:38pm
Vanilla worked.
-=Jordan=- 21 Sep, 2024 @ 2:46pm
Works perfectly with LWOTC, also. can be changed in configs, for example u can set DoomMaxValues = 60 for easy mod

Also works on existing saves, as its says
Saftschluerfer 3 Jul, 2024 @ 9:29am

mayrenise123 24 Jun, 2024 @ 10:51pm
does this work for lwotc?
Shabazza 22 Apr, 2024 @ 2:22pm
Gosh I hate death timers with passion. And this game is basically death timer simulator.
So this mod is golden. Even 8 years later.
Dj El Marriachi 2 Mar, 2023 @ 2:21pm
Thanks for this. Seems to work. As a new player the avatar project is a bit too stressfull to my liking
Randolorian 10 Apr, 2022 @ 11:10pm
Didn't do a damn thing. If anything it seemed to progress faster.
TheWatcherAl 21 Mar, 2022 @ 7:28pm
inside DefaultGameData.ini what line controls pip removal upon black-site wins?
JamesBieBoe 14 Dec, 2021 @ 10:21am

[NTB]Unclutch 1 Nov, 2021 @ 1:02pm

works with wots?
vandujr 6 Jun, 2019 @ 12:40pm
is there a wotc version?
mammey 4 Mar, 2019 @ 3:39pm
To change the timer for WOTC

Find the place where XCOM 2 is on your SSD / HD

Like: Drive: D - SteamApps - Common - XCom2 - XCom2-WarOfTheChoosen - XComGame - Config - DefaultGameData

Open DefaultGameData

Open the search function (Strg + F) and search for AlienHeadquarters

Click through till it won't find another "AlienHeadquarters"

What you should see now:

AlienHeadquarters_DoomStartValue[0]=0 ;Easy
AlienHeadquarters_DoomMaxValue[0]=12
AlienHeadquarters_DoomStartValue[1]=0 ;Normal
AlienHeadquarters_DoomMaxValue[1]=12
AlienHeadquarters_DoomStartValue[2]=0 ;Classic
AlienHeadquarters_DoomMaxValue[2]=12
AlienHeadquarters_DoomStartValue[3]=0 ;Impossible
AlienHeadquarters_DoomMaxValue[3]=12

Select the difficulty level you want to change, remove the "12" and enter whatever you want, like 20 or 24 or 30.

AlienHeadquarters_DoomStartValue[3]=0 ;Impossible
AlienHeadquarters_DoomMaxValue[3]=24

@Timelyness probably not.
John Helldiver 9 Nov, 2017 @ 11:40am
Will this work with LW2?
Shade11 1 Oct, 2017 @ 4:07am
it's not working :/ I still get 1 pip even after switching FacilityDoom to 0%.
Sevro au Barca 4 Sep, 2017 @ 8:31am
Does not work with War of the Chosen for me, still have only 12 Avatar pips ._.
krj12 (Ken) 2 Sep, 2017 @ 6:53am
I havent seen any such option when starting a new game, where is it?
BlueRaja 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:28pm
WotC has an option for this when starting a new game..
Duk of Deth 31 Aug, 2017 @ 10:22am
It works. The pips are all narrow, and all fit in the DOOM box instead of spreading out to the right
Neowolfen 29 Aug, 2017 @ 4:35pm
Hasnt caused a conflict for me thus far
Skylor Beck  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 10:01am
Should work, probably needs an update
N2Marine 29 Aug, 2017 @ 6:05am
is it compatible with WOTC or does it need an update?
Skylor Beck  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 12:05pm
@kinzuko highly improbable that this would do that, but thank you for the report.
Kinzuko 16 Jul, 2017 @ 11:59am
this doesnt work, it chashes the game on start up
Skylor Beck  [author] 29 Jun, 2017 @ 9:46pm
@Evil_Lord_Proteus I have done no testing with any other mod in relation to avatar progression so I cannot say. If you test it please report back and let everyone know!
Doctor Proteus 29 Jun, 2017 @ 11:34am
Is this compatible with sub7's "Slow Avatar" mod? Yours and his both hinder the Avatar project in different ways. Yours makes it easier to remove progress, his slows the rate at which they make progress.
Skylor Beck  [author] 11 Mar, 2017 @ 9:56am
Not at all designed for LW2. Not tested in the slightest as well. This mod was made launch week of the game. Use with other mods at your own discression
Skylor Beck  [author] 22 Feb, 2017 @ 5:50pm
It should. I have mixed reports but it should.
pyr0kid 20 Feb, 2017 @ 10:29am
this still work?
Kaotic_Slaughter 5 Jan, 2017 @ 1:32pm
Great mod. Thanks for the reply.
Skylor Beck  [author] 4 Jan, 2017 @ 3:03pm
@Kaotic_Slaughter It does not.
Kaotic_Slaughter 4 Jan, 2017 @ 2:13pm
Does this have any configuration options?
Videonauth 15 Oct, 2016 @ 4:31am
Only problem i have so far (but i have no DLC's) is that the doom bar seems to be unaturally long, but im yet not sure if it is because of my already started game (with some mods running) or the mod itself. Will report here if the issue persists with a newly started game. Great mod anyways, makes the game a bit more bearable.
Mister Potato Aim 17 Sep, 2016 @ 10:47pm
Still working for me.
Xenomorph Kitty 26 Aug, 2016 @ 2:42am
Is this mod still working?
Skylor Beck  [author] 8 Jul, 2016 @ 12:38am
@Kunovega Some people have reported that this mod changes the default.inis so deleting your custom ones leads to them getting replaced with a default that still has this mod in it.

That's why I said it changes core files.
Kunovega 8 Jul, 2016 @ 12:28am
@the real sweg .ini are just the configuration files. the game creates new ones with the default values if you delete them. it remembers your settings changes and mod changes by changing the .ini files. I wouldn't really call .ini files "core", they are just settings.
Xavier 6 Jul, 2016 @ 2:44pm
Wait can i get rid of this? (Because you mentioned editing core game files)
mlipski0 1 Jul, 2016 @ 3:07am
Please update mod to latest shen's last gift dlc.
Cuddletauren 10 Jun, 2016 @ 8:48pm
+1 he doesn't die. he simply runs out of time in a badass fashion
Skylor Beck  [author] 16 May, 2016 @ 3:37pm
I don't know what to do about that. This edits a core game file so the dlc shouldn't actually interfere. Unless they changed the system around.
