As a sidenote, the new Blackfish helicopters are HUGE. If you request one after requesting a different vehicle first, you may explode. So, don't do that.

Is the manual enemy zone placement in this version as restrictive as in DUWS Unofficial 1.22, where I couldn't even put a zone anywhere near Maxwell, Mike 26, Rogain or anywhere else where the random generator had absolutely no problem putting a zone into?

Also, is the enemy gaining AP over time here, and under what conditions, if not only by time?

I tried using this with the Apex Preview Build. The neither the red control areas appear nor the names of locations like the main base, FOBs, and enemy zones. You can still place them and play, but you have to remember where you placed everything(making custom map markers doesn't seem to work in Apex yet or I just haven't found where they moved the command).

I figured you'd want to know now so you can prepare for whatever fixes you may need to make when the full expansion comes out. This mod works great in the base game besides that.

Why am I limited in base size and amount? And no random base placement? Unsubscribing and returning to DUWS-R, but favoriting to see any future updates.

Btw. i have noticed that recruited AI infantry squads doesnt really move (only infantry squads, tank plattoons are working fine). There also seems to be an AI limit of 130 is there any way to turn that feacture off when playing the DUWS as a scenario (SP) ?
Also you are only able to deploy a maximum of 6 enemy zones. However the varity of enemy soldiers and such works flawlessly

Uh oh one more thing, not sure if this is intended or not but the Task Force AI has been disabled again. (Yeah I know I'm a pain lol..) I think because this newly updated file is the "DUWS%20Enhanced-M%20(More%20CP)%20(Manual%20Enemy%20Zone%20.Altis" version and not your "DUWS%20Enhanced-M%20.Altis" version that you released later.

CHANGE (Line 5):

TO:

Let me know you when get this. Should disable the FOB autosaving allowing pause menu saving options.

Actually, changing maps only works so far with Chernarus, Bornholm, Kunduz and Stratis. It doesn't work with Zargabad, Utes, Shapur and Sahrani. I haven't tried the other maps from Cups Terrain workshop download yet but i'm not holding my breath. I'm not sure why it isn't working with these maps, it works on some of the cups terrain maps and some of my maps that are from armaholic eg Bornholm, it works on kunduz which I got from workshop, so I dunno, I dont think it matters where they are downloaded from or how they are run i.e. through launch parameters or through workshop. Anyway this version of DUWS is the shiz nitz, thanks Z.

Awesome thanks, just tried it and it works, I put it in my missions or MP missions folder and got rid of the % signs that were added from the save file. For anyone that doesn't know how, just rename the DUWS 20Enhanced-M 20(.Altis.pbo file to DUWS 20Enhanced-M 20(.Kunduz or any other map. Is the save issue still there for SP?

I've been searching for days for a DUWS that doesn't have bugs created over the Eden update. Are there any major issues with this one currently? I've encountered a whole slew of problems with other releases, from AI not moving, to the AI commander stealing all my units, enemies not spawning.

You should be able to find the .pbo in your documents>Arma3>Saved>And then one of the steam folders. The name will probably be pretty messed up, but the pbo should be there in its entirety (roughly 4.1 mb). I haven't tried changing the map myself, so I have no idea if it will work or not. Good luck!

Hey Z, I'm just wondering if like the kibot duws you can change the .pbo file for your duws to another map? I would have already tried but I can't find the file as I have downloaded it from the workshop. I'vb also looked on armaholic for your version but I don't think its there. Is there a way to find files from the workshop or would I have to get the .pbo from you?

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I couldn't find any code telling it to auto save in the files relevant to taking FOBs. I'll keep working on it, though.

@Z, btw if I may make a suggestion based on my limited experience of scripting, would just disabling the autosave after building a FOB fix the problem? Seems to only occur after the FOB finishes building and the autosave then kicks in right?

Maybe it's just me, but I get stuck on a loading screen when attempting to select a side mission. I can left-click and fire my weapon in the loading menu, as well as run around?

Currently playing solo on LAN mode.

@Z Once again I'm the bearer of bad news, in SP after deploying a FOB in a newly captured zone, ArmA autosaves and I once again lose the options to save via the pause menu. Also SITREP fails to save anything as well after that point.

@Z Hey thanks for the update. Yeah I actually had to use that workaround for the older versions of DUWS that wouldn't save correctly as such. I wanted to add that I noticed the save options disappear after the first activation of the SITREP/save function to save. Before activation of SITREP/save via the number menu, the functions for save and save & exit are intact in the pause menu. Just wanted to share that observation in the meantime.

FYI.........Must have been a bad file with a recent update for Cups Vehicles........I removed the Cups Vrhicle and now it works fine(Thanks)

@Delta The save issue is still unfixed as of yet. I'll keep working on it when I get back. If you lost your save data and haven't tried starting a new one, you can go to your documents/arma3/saved/steam/missions and create a copy of the autosave file. Rename this copy to continue.Arma3save and you should be able to resume your mission from where you left off.

That's too bad. Have you tried verifying your steam cache under your game properties? I'm not entirely sure why you'd have an issue with that file, as I don't think it's part of this mod.
