@Nic_1990:
See the Discussion I just created.

@Dragon32
How do we do that?
Dragon32 6. nov. 2017 kl. 10:41
@mgunh1:
It's an easy thing to update your local copy.
mgunh1 6. nov. 2017 kl. 2:09
I've sworn by this as an excellent balancing patch. Shame its not compatable with WOTC...
Dragon32 3. sep. 2017 kl. 12:27
Looks like there's been some changes to the values in XComGameData.ini

So the lines in this mod which remove the vanilla entries (in preparation for adding the mod's values) won't work.
Gong-Gle-E 2. sep. 2017 kl. 18:12
i waiting update for WotC
Tencer386 29. aug. 2017 kl. 16:45
Will this work with WOTC
macelharen 26. juli 2017 kl. 15:45
i've tried "less gravely wounded" and then "rebalanced wounds"...giving this one a whirl
Dragon32 3. juni 2017 kl. 2:41
@Alzahhar3:
The latter.
alza- 2. juni 2017 kl. 16:08
if a soldier is healed does he get lightly wounded or still depends on how bad they were originally wounded?
Pixy 19. maj 2017 kl. 12:35
Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations...

Been using this through midgame on my current playthrough. Without recording anything, things seem to correspond overall with wounds taken a little better, but there's still a chance of a wound being better or worse than the health lost might indicate.
Vaultwulf 26. jan. 2017 kl. 9:12
Can someone verify of this mod still works or point me to a suitable replacement. Thank you!
WaterFowl 7. jan. 2017 kl. 20:43
first mission I had this, a guy took 1 damage through armor and ended up being gravely wounded for 10 days. Don't bother with this mod. Hasn't been updated in almost a year
teoleo 31. dec. 2016 kl. 2:51
me too
HammerStyx 26. dec. 2016 kl. 9:09
I'm not seeing any changes so far. for example my ranger lost one hp due to a graze and at the end of the mission he was out for 21 days i was very confused at annoyed because of this. now i don't know if its conflicting with another mod or its just not working other than that am not sure whats going on.
Tiger's Eye 20. nov. 2016 kl. 4:20
Telemetry data indicates that Wound Recalibration can improve X-COM's soldier efficency by .32 percent.
Damoclese 19. nov. 2016 kl. 18:07
I'd subscribe to this mod, but I'm in the middle of some calibrations...
Dragon32 8. okt. 2016 kl. 2:27
@123Nick:
I've used it with It's Just A Spark. I don't use LW Perk Pack or LW Tool Box, the other LW mods work fine with this.
123nick 7. okt. 2016 kl. 18:19
this is compatible with other mods? like the long war mods, its just a spark , etc?
Christy 4. aug. 2016 kl. 23:32
So far I am not seeing any improvement in recovery times when shot. Small bullet holes seem to keep me out still at 24 days and put me in gravely mode. When down to one health it jumps then to 39 days (this is one Legendary of course) was this mode suppose to equalize a bit better how much time is spent recovering in a fair amount of time? Or was I mistaken at this mode is for something else entirely? Anyone?
Crazy War Hero 1. aug. 2016 kl. 18:36
@mandrake I found another workout. There is a mod that increases the variance of when missions show up. By default the mod is set up to give the next mission in 3-11 days. In the vanilla game you won't get a mission for at least 7 days. That should provide more of a challenge with the wound times as they are now.

Wound times scaling to the severity of the wound makes more sense than Xcom's randomness. I'm with goodfoot though: The wound times are way too forgiving. Can you make them more punishing?
Arty-chan 9. juli 2016 kl. 22:44
Just want to say, thanks a lot!

For both the explanation and the mod. While I really like the game, I'm not the best at it, so having really long recovery times (why do I always get the bad "dice rolls"?) every time anyone got wounded at all was killing me. As you say, I may not have the chance of getting a much shorter recovery time but that's fair game after all.
Crazy War Hero 19. apr. 2016 kl. 13:48
is there a way to change the wound times? I like having less gravely wounded but wound times are too short across the board. I'm using a fatigue mod that lasts nine days. If you do a second mission while they are tired they automatically get a wound. But with this mod a regular wound only lasts four or five days. They would be fully healed by the next mission with wounds that short. Plus I'm better off getting a slight wound than coming out unscathed because the fatigue lasts longer. The grave wound is twelve days and there is a slight chance you could make the next mission. I'd rather it start at about a week and go out to a month or so.
DangerousB 8. apr. 2016 kl. 6:43
Is this mod compatible with the longer campaign mod? That one changes the HealSoldierProject_TimeScaler and WoundStates values. I got a gravely wounded soldier out for 35 days and that seemed a little long. Thanks!
Erenatus 3. apr. 2016 kl. 20:19
And now a "bleed-out" soldier only needed several hours to recover from her light wound. Is this mod broken?:steamsad:
Erenatus 29. mar. 2016 kl. 3:59
While my Jane Kelly dodged an attack and took only 1 damage, she ened up gravely wounded, having to lie on bed for 40+ days. Is this normal? I have installed this mod only which changes wounds and heal. I remember this mod would prevent such thing from happening previously. :steamsad:
Kelloggs 18. mar. 2016 kl. 22:55
Is the mod working post-patch?

I spent a week or so without playing the game. I came back today... a soldier got 2 points of damage (out of 6 HP) and ended up gravely wounded. Is that normal?

The way I remembered, this mod stopped that sort of behavior... I was assuming my soldier would be either Lightly or "regular" wounded.

Was I just unlucky? Or is there a possibility that the mod isn't working for me anymore for some reason?

Thanks in advance

Go right ahead BeerTent! Thanks for asking :)
Tek03 14. mar. 2016 kl. 20:53
Hey there,

I'm working on a mod called Amalgmation It's not up on the workshop yet, but I hope to build it, using a collection of other people's mods to build a difinitive "Long War 2" experience.

I feel that your one of the best UI/QOL mods out there, and a perfect fit-in for it. Is it okay if I add your mod to mine?

There will be a link in the mod discription to your mod, so if people aren't interested in the whole package, they will subscribe to yours instead.

Thank you for your time!
Meatbang 14. mar. 2016 kl. 7:46
Heads up to anyone on high difficulty: The default values for Impossible are insanely long - with recovery periods being from 30-40 days.

Poke around and edit the values, or don't use the mod altogether. It's changes' are superficial at best.
flipstone 10. mar. 2016 kl. 15:36
Thanks for the response! I guess this is going to be an... interesting playthrough now that I'm missing three soldiers for a month after the first mission
MachDelta  [ophavsmand] 9. mar. 2016 kl. 23:40
Nope, just Legendary. But you can tweak them in the configs - in XComGameData.ini there are four lines starting with "HealSoldierProject_TimeScalar[#]=". By default they're all 1.5 except for #3 (Legendary difficulty), which is 2.5.
Ellie 9. mar. 2016 kl. 19:06
Doesn't Commander affect it too?
MachDelta  [ophavsmand] 9. mar. 2016 kl. 19:04
Legendary difficulty increases healing times by a factor of ~1.66, so 40 days wounded would be equivalent to ~24 days wounded on any other difficulty, which is within expected values. Legendary difficulty should really be called "Masochist" - maybe that should be my next mod. ;)
Ellie 9. mar. 2016 kl. 15:45
v That should be intended, Legend is meant to punish you very hard if you don't have a flawless mission.
flipstone 9. mar. 2016 kl. 15:13
I've installed this mod, and on Legend difficulty, I've got 3 gravely wounded soldiers out for around 40 days each. Is this intended, or is there a bug here?
MachDelta  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2016 kl. 18:05
Your soldiers have a chance to become shaken any time they're listed as Gravely Wounded, which happens if their recovery is over a certain length of time (roughly 20+ days, without an engineer helping). But since it's a random chance, you may just have been lucky thus far.
Arcian 7. mar. 2016 kl. 15:18
I never seem to get the "shaken" debuff, is that normal?
Gundyr 6. mar. 2016 kl. 23:48
No matter how much damage i take, 90% of the time i get gravely wounded from this mod, do not download if you like your soldiers. The vanilla atleast gave me a chance to get less!
Pox 2. mar. 2016 kl. 9:48
@Gravy; it's not his mod. Also 2HP is a lot on a rookie (who are also very low on will), so it's understandable.
Gundyr 1. mar. 2016 kl. 6:39
I don't know whats wrong with your mod but i only seem to be getting gravely wounded, even when i just get 2 damage on a 5 hp soldier
memes 27. feb. 2016 kl. 16:15
@Ron Jeremy i was wondering this too but then i just assumed that the medkits were more "quick-fixes" to help them get through the mission. i wish gravely wounded usually meant one of their limbs had to be amputated or something and then you'd be able to see a part of them change once they're better again
Kaldreth 26. feb. 2016 kl. 12:48
I deleted the config file from my documents while the game was running then re-ran the save and it finally worked, but I noticed that in the victory screen it didn't have my soldiers listed as wounded and gave me a flawless rating.
Kaldreth 26. feb. 2016 kl. 12:01
For some odd reason the game just isn't reading anything but the first 4 lines of each difficulty entry. Everything below that just comes out as "---" in-game and results in an instant heal.
Fx_oO7 26. feb. 2016 kl. 1:09
The system of wound is a horror of origin.
I have to install your mods, it is very well thought.
But I still find times of long wounds.
What do I have to modify to lower times of recovery a little?
Is what that is possible in a file INI?
Thank you
Grimgoth 24. feb. 2016 kl. 11:53
in vanilla i had a ranger dodge an attack, and she had armor, she took one damage to her health....one....result gravley wounded out for 48 days...what? gonna try this mod!
