Want multiple guns at any tier? Use the additem command. The Item ID's are as follows:

Hey there, first of all - many thanks for this brilliant feature!
I have a problem with this mod, though.
First of all, when I start, I only have one M41A Rifle availible - aren't there more?
Seconds, when I upgrade to the next advanced version, it just doesn't show up....

Any ideas how to fix this?

I've put my new version on the workshop. If Platoon ever returns I will gladly give him my code and let him take back control.

Okay, I have the upgrading working and the infinite slots back as well. I modified the INI to give the gun less damage with more ammo, an accuracy bump, and armor pierce (shred at higher tiers). Or should I just put the damage back to the way Platoon had it? Right now I have it at 2-4 AP1 for tier 1, 4-6 AP 1 Shred 1 for tier 2, and 7-9 AP 2 shred for tier 3. All tiers get +5 accuracy and 10% crit as well as 8 ammo. all of this can be changed in the ini. I used a more standard format for everything to be closer to other weapon mods as well. Just need to do a bit more testing and then I can publish a new version

I have made changes to the mod and almost have the whole thing working again, but I don't want to release a new version of this without permission from the original author. Anyone have any idea how to contact him?

I don't think telling people the truth that this won't recieve another update after seeing that Platoon has been gone for 74 days now while making an edgy joke is being selfish. I can see being rude or a prick, if he did actually have an accident like you said, but I wouldn't have known anything about that in the first place so you can't use it as an argument. Also I am very clearly alive right now and am making my own decisions so I must have a soul.

As with many other item mods, the most recent patch seems to have reduced the unlimited quantity to just one pulse rifle. This is a brilliant mod and it'd be great for it to be updated so we could still have full squads of colonial marines

I have an issue with this MOD. I have the AWC and I got the Death From Above perk on one of my soldiers carrying the Pulse Rifle. When it describes the new perk, it says this:

Killing an enemy at a lower elevation with yourError!PulseRifle_CV has no AbilityDescName! costs only a single action, and does not end your turn.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

This is a good work around for sure. When I initially saw this mod I was hoping that the follow up would be the big LMG type weapon that Vasquez uses :steamsad:

The solution for upgrade weapon its easy... Not upgrade the weapon xD.
Go in the desktop to "C:\Program Filesx86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\624413514\Config\
The archive called "XComGameData_WeaponData" have the stats.
Go to that direction and change the values.
When I have the tech for upgrade the weapon I go to that direction. In that place are the values of all tech versiosn of the weapon.

Is not a ideal solution i know, but is a solution.

The MK upgrades really need to be fixed and needs mods to be able to put onto the gun like the others can like Scope etc.

Mod seems to be dead, and the last patch seems to have broken it. After doing the upgrade the better MK's don't appear in inventory.

Hey Blackagar. MAN I LOVE THIS MOD! Sorry caps, I got excited. But... the upgrades to the rifle arnt working even after buying them. I thought it might be an issue with other weapon mods so I disabled all of them, and still no dice. When I go to loadout on they mark 1 is there. Can you tell me if a fresh game is required for the upgrades to work?

I love the mod, but I feel that it's over powered to have this gun when just starting out. Is there a way to have it with only vanilla stats and custom look/sound like it is now?

Scrap my original idea, just tried that and no change....looking at other weapon mods there are a crapload more lines needed adding to the code inorder to enable weapon mods on this item. It is beyond my ability to change this I feel.

So the sounds are muted as in I can only here bullet impacting on an object but no firing noises.

I have the same problem with the Halo Reach Assualt rifle mod.

Anything I can do to fix it?

Can you make the rifle smaller? In game its REALLY big.

Same problem as Heirube&Naginata - bought the MKII upgrade, does not show up :(

Too bad, as it is an otherwise great mod (hell, the pulse rifle was meant to be used for shooting aliens in the face :))

Also, how can I attach extra slots to the rifle? ini file edit?

Like Heirube, I tried upgrading to MKIII, but they do not replace/appear, and unlike them, I MKII worked for me. Other than that, I love it! the AP bit cretainly helped me later on.

Is there any chance you would be working on an M56 Smartgun mod anytime soon? The character animations for the Cannon seem almost spot on for the way Vasquez would hold the M56 in the movies.

First off; awesome! Love the look, the sound, it's a viable 1st tier weapon.

Only problem is when I upgrade to MKII or MKIII they do not show up as options for any class (not even as unhighlighted) they aren't on the weapon list :( Only the MKI seems to work for me.

ladies and gentlemen, could any of you tell me if chance to hit increases the closer the enemy is? I am playing and even when my soldiers are 1 tile away, they still only have their original aim as a modifier. I would like to know if it is a glitch or it was meant to be like that.

Would like to report another problem with the rifle not appearing in the loadout menu. It has simply disappeared, despite MKII being equipped on my some of my soldiers.
