I believe all standalone weapons work with LW2 no problem. Im using all the mass effect weapons and 870 mcs shotgun with no problem. I think the pdf files regarding compatibility mention that additional weapons need balancing.

Has custom sounds, upgradable versions, icons, attachments, etc.
They need to update their mod by adding this line to the Template: Template.bInfiniteItem = true, since the update changes the default bool from true to false if you leave out the Template.bInfiniteItem.
tl;dr Add Template.bInfiniteItem = true to your weapon templates.
I've already did it to all my weapon mods.

can you give permission?
I changed the stats to match the beam pistol so I can avoid having to use that child's toy of a weapon. It's also faster when using the multi shit abilites so that's nice.
If anyone else whats to do the same, here are the stats I copied from the game's config files but adjusted to affect the Degal, simply overwrite the mod config file:
DesertEagle_BASEDAMAGE=(Damage=4, Spread=1, PlusOne=50, Crit=2, Pierce=0, Shred=0, Tag="", DamageType="Projectile_BeamXCom")
DesertEagle_AIM=0
DesertEagle_CRITCHANCE=0
DesertEagle_ICLIPSIZE=99
DesertEagle_ISOUNDRANGE=15
DesertEagle_IENVIRONMENTDAMAGE=10
DesertEagle_IPOINTS=0
Exactly. We should just respect all the modders and enjoy this mod community to extend our fun. Now that it's still free, and Donation is optional.
Don't listen to the haters dude you're doing an awesome job. Even if you made all the model objects yourself, nobody will see a difference in the end, the outcome will be still the same. The desert eagle will still look like a desert eagle. Look at payday 2/insurgency/halflife 2/far cry 4/battlefield. The weapons are all the same.
It's that what makes everything different in the end. So that we can enjoy this game even more. Even if the model is preloaded this takes a large amount of time to make sure this works in this game.
Yard1PL is the only one providing us these awesome weapon for XCOM 2. For FREE. And he credits the companies who made the model so. This donation is still a CHOICE. So we could at least appreciate what he's doing for us.
Not to say that ripping this off another game isn't a problem by itself.
You imported it.
And you want money for that? LOL
Good luck with that.
If you don't want to donate, then don't donate. It's that simple.

Steam Workshop is really clunky, but if you put this on the Nexus then people can use Nexus Mod Manager with it. I'm currently running 40 mods on my game, all of them are from the Nexus and make use of the Mod Manager.
Now who else thinks this mod is an awesome/10?
