Hello, I really appreciate this mod and really enjoying it. I would like to report about a bug where Monk's fist wraps cannot be enchanted, socketed or even remove any gemstones to it. It shows red whenever I try to place the fist wraps and this happens in all major cities. Would really appreciate a fix. Thank you and more power! :steamthumbsup:

@nighterrestar, what skills in particular? the fists of fury? There have been changes since I found the wraps weren't working correctly, so the balance may be off

Please add embermage's "Wand Chaos" skill to (PSION) it will make it amazing and a lot of fun, the class is fantastic. but autocasting this skill is a lot of fun.

Thanks for the answer.
I've noticed the claw icon at the HP bar of enemies while using the berserker skill.
But not when using the druid. So migth come from the skill.

@Kreed, the werewolf is just UI "magic", it still works the same as if you cast a normal skill. The armor bypass of claw weapons I believe only applies to normal attacks, not skills. So in this case, the armor bypass would come from the skill (if any) and not the weapons

Apparently the game is not breaking or giving an error, everything seems to work correctly.
Still, could someone tell me if this order is correct? I appreciate the help!

I have not used that mod. It has a ton of other mods in it, so no really way for me to know. The only mod I know that it doesn't work was a mod with a monk class (far east mod?). Both mods used a unit type of monk and that breaks the monk classes in both.

@eggman - yes, the class gets a generated shield while using a staff. If you want a class built for using a shield (equipment), try the psion

I am playing with Prophet. You said Staff + Shield. The staff is two-handed so I cannot wear a shield. Or you mean the shield that gets activated with full charge?

No build guides yet, just been creating classes. As for most fun, depends on what you enjoy.

Staff + shield + magic = prophet
Archer is pretty self explanatory
Traps + poison = Assassin
Martial arts = Monk
Melee + summon + magic = Druid
Pistols = Gunslinger
Summon + Melee + Magic = Blighted one

New class (mostly tested, but not fully balanced yet) published!!!

So that skill is basically a clone of stone pact of the outlander with new graphics. It has the same healing amount, but 2% less than the outlander's skill for the armor bonus. My guess is that you have fairly high armor which the reconstitution is boosting.

I haven't balanced the psion much for synergies, so I'll have to try it a bit more. I'm about ready to role out a new class very soon (the gunslinger) and I'm balancing that at the moment

Even if the two parts of the functionality are fairly weaker than the original abilities from which they were pulled, the two at the same time makes them sum much for a much more added value in just one skillpoints investment.

You can however watch me trackle down to the act 4 and see if I suspect, the skill will become less carrying on the late game, and then take your final conclusions. But for now, things is you can be as invincible as a tank-built, omni resist & shield engineer with the firepower of an unleashed embermage.

Im in act 2, synergies' mod wand & shield electro-based dps with a fair distribution on attributes (all 1 except focus which gets 2pts per level), just using gear from the field that gives me omni resistances and bonus electro damage.

Thing is, when I manage to stand inside the protective area, I can overpass the little dps can every boss (and even some act superbosses too) do to me by the aid of a potion (supply is endless anyway).

@Matchet, what about it is OP? Is it the armor bonus? The healing should be less than the Outlander's skill and the armor bonus less than the Engineer's passive. The difference perhaps is I gave the Psion an armor bonus to all types of damage. What part of the game do you think that it is too much, is it Synergies end game, or while leveling?

Psion is fun, but psychic reconstitution aura is so overpowered, you cant be defeated while on it.

For the Prophet's Purification spell, does anyone know if cast speed effects it at all?

I'm only level 30 and can get around 35% cast speed so it's hard to tell if it does something XD

@drewrpbi I am reffering the one that TL2 Tag fixer is using, that could be expanded upon by users. My one has some additional hases added, unfortunately not the one for 2622002016. So for example in HUM_PSION_F.DAT, line 68 I have <STRING>2622002016:PSION_SHOULDERS. And unfortunately it is not SHOULDERS_OVERRIDE I though it could be.

In HUM_BLIGHTED_F.DAT, line 64 and 65 seems to be the same, as 786463860 (hash) and 3950538813 (double hash) seems to be SHOULDERS_OVERRIDE but TL2 Tag fixer is known to be not perfect.

Merging mod without fixing tags does not seems like a good idea, that is why I asked for uncompiled files or dictionary generated by TL2 Tag Fixer so I could import the hases your mod is using :)

@Gwaihir, what dictionary are you referring to? I'm not familiar with such a file for a mod. I have set two properties from the shoulders as TL2 seems to have issues (or me) trying to get shoulders to work. The contents in that file are:

Hi Drew, great mod, I'd like to merge it to open up some mod slots in TL2, I have used tag fixer but It could not find one tag - 2622002016, would you mind sharing link to not compiled mod somewhere? I have also found that, for example in hum_blighted_f.dat apparently are two hashes for SHOULDERS_OVERRIDE (hash and double hash) so I am unsure if tags got fixed correctly, would appreciate either the dictionary from your mod folder or link to source files if possible!

@Motten, I started that set, but I don't think I ever finished it. Looking at the spawn classes files of my mod, I only see the monk mythical items, no druid ones. So I'm not sure how the shield dropped. It's possible I didn't set a flag to stop it from dropping randomly. I haven't worked on that set in over a year, so I can't remember the state it is in. I was working on a 3D model for a wolf head for the helmet but never got the character's face to render correctly under it, and ended up getting fed up and abandoning the effort. Maybe I'll get back to it some day

Hi, great classes, I dont know if theres been a report about the archer, but certain skills fire before targetting.
I dont know how to explain it better, but if theres an enemy behind you and you use Charged arrow, it will fire while your character is turning around, thus missing the skill.

===== New Class =====

A new class has been uploaded: Blighted One

It was inspired by the Nethermancer class. I saw that it was not balanced for Synergies and therefore decided to write my own class affected by ember blight.

The class is a hybrid of all 4 core classes. The charge bar reflects usage similar to the engineer. I is probably the most versatile class I've written, with flat damage, DPS damage, good for melee, ranged or use as a summoner build.

This is the beta version. I got a bit burned out during its balancing testing, so I'm not sure yet how it will function in end game synergies. Right now I'd say it may be a bit more powerful than some of my other classes, but I would not call it OP. I still need to do more testing, but need a break.

So to not let this sit on the shelf I'm releasing it now. Please let me know of your thoughts with balancing.

Note that I test in elite mode and I check that at least 1 build is viable for endgame synergies

@Gandorfin - I try to balance my classes for use with Synergies so they are viable but not more powerful than the base classes that are part of the game. If anything I think I am more cautious than most and may actually under-power some skills for fear of making OP classes. I play all my classes with different permutations to ensure they are balanced, fun and not OP.

Ah, just realized if Psion scales based on flat damage (Which is a cool way to do it) Then it definitely won't work with that higher level scaling if I understand right. I may just have to let Laos 3 sit aside

Ah, I see you are looking at other options for the fist weapon (Honestly being able to buy them/roll mods on them is awesome)

But Laos 3 scales levels up to 499. It has a second mod that can also scale up to 100, but I'm not exactly to ever actually reach past 500. Laos 3 is pretty much a synergies replacement, and is completely different than what Laos 2 was.

That said I am super interested to see what this Psion looks like, I'm going to jump in now to take a look! The majority of why I actually play torchlight 2 still is these class mods of yours.

@drewrobi - Thank you Drew... I figured out the problem. I had accidentally left another mod in my load list that was conflicting with yours. That's why they never dropped for me... even though they used to at lower levels. And that's why the vendors only had up to lvl 20 when I was lvl 95 +. If anyone else experiences this issue make sure you don't have another mod that adds any kind of additional gear for classes with the name "monk" or some variant.
