Great mod, just a shame it doesnt seem to affect the AI, its especially noticeable playing with smaller factions, where your struggling small armies just get drown by the endless full stacks the AI is able to shit out

Hi. I am playing a campaign as Athens at the moment. I prioritized having all the 2nd and 1st class citizens in my capital, so I took all the mercenaries available such as Hoplites and Mercenary Veteran Hoplites in Sparta region and the whole Macedonia province and I disband then at Athens region. Good so far.

The problem is that I have been doing the same for Brundisium, since I set Magna Graecia as my military province. I had a nice number of Wealthy Citizens and Citizens, enough for 3 elite armies, and the population was growing steadly (low taxes, buildings which improve 1st and 2nd class citizens...) And all of a sudden they have dissapeared and I only have like 100 Citizens and 50 Wealthy Citizens.

This is really frustrating.

I came across a bug, some units from the Desert Kingdoms dlc don't have pop class assigned to them (Slave infantry, slave slingers, desert cavalry)

I have two questions.

1. Is this being updated for RotR?
2. If the AI is not being able to use the classes how does it comes to properly work with recruits?

I love playing with this mod, but I don´t understand exactly how it works. How do foreigners get converted into other classes? It baffles me that even after 20 turns since the conquest of a region it still doesn´t have enough population to recruit an army.

Sometimes weird things happens with the population: I remember one time when I checked it and I had like 1K 2nd class, so I decided to recruit there units the following turn, but then they suddenly dissapeared.

I also find strange that even after 100 turns my 1st class population in my capital is really low.

P.S. I know about the mechanics such as low taxation, building certain buildings which provide a bonus for a specific citizen class, but still it doesn´t work for me. In my last campaign I´ve had low taxes and full temples in my region capital and I´ve only been able to have a reliable source of elite units from a region inherited from other faction (Join Confederation).

it doesn't suit another unit expand pack ,If you use it ,while you recruit new unit it will be display "error unit has no classkey assigned" on the unit card .it seems it work for the original edition unit but not another expand.

intresting though i suspect running this with any mods that add more manpower to each unit card will cause issues with recruitment if you did try the mod with that.

hi,
anyone using with campagin camera mods? it seems they dont work together? tried various camera mods but doesnt work,

one mod works that i gave the priority, either this or camera mods, also tried script friendly version of this mod too, it doesnt work with camera mods too.

any tips on that?

I'd like to change this mod so there is just 1 class instead of 4 (non-specific, total population.) Is this possible, or is that too complex? I'd also like to make a modified version of this as a submod for my Rome 1 conversion mod. I've added you just in case.

Eastern Spearmen, The non Hellenic ones uses the 2nd Class Citizen, while the Hellenic Version used the 3rd Class Citizen.
This makes them pretty useless due to the 2nd class citizen being pretty limited and have to compete with other, and better units like Persian Hoplites and Axemen or Parthian Swordsmen.

TL:DR
Make the Eastern Spearmen used the 3rd Class Citizen pools.

I believe I found a bug: when playing Suebi, club levy falls into the "warriors" category instead of the "commoners" category (they are a trash unit, even cheaper than spear levy who are commoners in this mod).

I wanted to ask you something if you can make a change that when you capture a city/town and your culture is dominant in the province not all people in the city/town become foreigners but 50% of them just like in the dei cause in this way it's really difficult especially for minor factions to expand!!!thanks again hope that you can make the change keep up the great war!!!

This mod is great, but it needs an update. There are units for the Kush that don't have a population assigned to them. Makes that faction unplayable.
