Can you upload the lite version here?
Haispawner 13 Aug, 2023 @ 7:33pm
The balancing is absolute dogshit, do not install this until you're about level 60. Makes early game completely unplayable if they show up.

Fun when it doesn't crash the game. Needs to be toned down a bit.

Update plssss <3
Pokesus 17 Jan, 2021 @ 8:47am
I personally love this mod, i have some troubles because they kill civilians in some cities as Malkath but is complectly op.
(Even if you install it since the beginning as i do is FAIR and it gives a lot of immersion, maybe sometimes can feel too much but is really worth it)
I leave this comment because i enjoyed this for a lot of time and i just started playing skyrim again and THIS MOD is what made me play again.
Because i forgot about this mod, and seeing a group of bandits assaulting Whiterun was a surprise, but VERY good one!
Was like a 2 years or more without play it, and i must say this mod made me play it again.
I must say this is very good and surprising! :D

this steam version had no issues but the nexus updated version is the most likely cause of me crashing before going to whiterun

There was way too many bandits I don't understand.
GeneralLarry 24 Oct, 2019 @ 6:11pm
Don't know if this is intended, but I am lvl 52 and the guards kill all the bandits without needing help like they did in the lower lvls. Is this intented?

Hi, love this mod had it ages, but now I have a game crash, I had plenty of battles and my system can handle it, on this one time im on now entering the battle the game crashes, I managed to creep into battle but after a couple of mins the game crashes, there doesnt seem to be a reason why, the only logical part seems to be where im engaging combat/entering combat.

If I may suggest...
I was thinking maybe adding a GUI (If thats possible) which has sliders that lets you choose the amount of bandits, the diffilculty, the types of bandits (regular raiders, commanders etc), a frequency slider which determines the frequency of raids and a choice to select which cities get raided.
catfreshly 24 Dec, 2017 @ 3:59pm
to many fucking bandets.
but i like were this is going
Carrot 30 Sep, 2017 @ 11:06am
How do i remove this mod, I unsubbed but it´s still in the game. The reason for the deletion is
- To many raiders, its really chaotic
- Crashes the game when I near a raid
- Raids spawn WAY to often
The Disenchantress 28 Aug, 2017 @ 3:23pm
This mod was a little stressful and annoying for my specific playing style. I feel like there are too many bandits in a single raid and the raid respawns a little bit too often, meaning that the fights can be long and difficult. Before I am even done looting all the bodies and selling all their stuff, I'm suddenly being attacked again. By the end of the battle, NPC's have been killed, my weaker animal followers have been killed, and the Whiterun guards are trying to arrest me for having some pretty bad aim with the bow and arrows. I might turn this mod back on someday if I ever feel like Skyrim has become too dull and predictable, but for now, I really prefer not always being forced into combat while going about my non-violent affairs.

Really great mod, sadly, it was making my game crash each time I neared a raid... I still like it though!

Pt 2: Afterwords, I went back, turned on god mode, and sat out of the fight to see what would have happened if I hadn't been there. They killed everyone outside the city (I have realcities solitude which adds a bunch of villagers living outside the gate into the main city, so it was a massacre). Then they went into the city, killed just about every villager unfortunate enough to be outside, and pretty much the entire city guard. At the last minute a handful of guards came out of Castle Dour and killed the remaining bandits, with only 1 or 2 guards left at the end. The bandits were sooooo frickin close to taking over the town. Honestly if they hadn't been distracted shooting at my immortal ass they might just have done it.

So I just gave Malborn my armor for the diplomatic immunity quest, I walked outside wearing some crap armor I had just so I wouldn't be nekked walking to Delphine (just body, no helm/gloves/boots). And then about a million dudes attacked the city. Fortunatly my character fights unarmed so I didn't miss my weapons after giving my gear to Malborn, although I did miss my gauntlets and all my other gear enchanted to boost unarmed. Fortunatly when the second wave showed up I was able to take out like 15 guys with one shout.

In its current state this mod is horrible and the reason i say that is because the bandit raids are huge clusterfucks of manslaughter,30-40 NPCs just suddenly appear and start killing everything they see, they are also way too powerful, its like each one of them are bandit bosses, also compared to the size of th battles these raids occour way too often, but the main reason of my complains is that it crashes the game, almost every time i encountered a bandit raid a dragon attacked me as well, its like the dragon and the bandit attacks are using the same system to occour and whenever that happens my fps drops a lot and after a few painful moments of trying to escape the game freezes and you have to close it by using task manager.

The only way i could see this mod work well and be fun is by reducing the number of bandits and weakening them, also removing the mercenary guards because their presence looks dumb and only drains more memory.
Duke.of.Deimos 3 Feb, 2017 @ 3:26pm
this mod probably shouldn't be combined with the no essentials mod
the master of lies 20 Jan, 2017 @ 12:50pm
Pleas make it when they attack that all the people run inside a building so they dont die. ( Like in whiterun they run inside dragonsreach. ) And stay inside with some gaurds.
( As the final stand mabey? )
Sasha Pines (no brain) 30 Nov, 2016 @ 3:27am
i like this but too bad i didnt work with obis beside more war in the city is fun expect alot of peoples have too die
DeGriffin 16 Jul, 2016 @ 7:49pm
Excellent Mod! Evidently game doen't like me using Grim Reaper on em - tends to crash syst after a couple of fights ....but hey.... so nice to watch bandit bosses think they have you just where they want you - only to die w/o even lifting your blade...hehe
Dionysus 17 Jun, 2016 @ 6:58pm
is this compatible with open cities skyrim?
skannerz22 17 May, 2016 @ 6:52pm
i have had this bandit raid mod for years now :D
skannerz22 17 May, 2016 @ 6:51pm
it works fine for me and i have 244 mods i even had a more bandit encounter mod(their mod was broken not yours) i even got bandit camp mods and a wildling mod all of whitch potentually could clash BUT YOUR MOD WORKS ABSOLUTELY FINE :D

your mod is epic
The Slender Man 21 Apr, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Unfortunatly i have to Remove this mod.. there seems to be some odd issue with the mod Confusing the Characters in white run as to who the bandits are and who to attack... For instance if you by pass the battle and enter the city the whole city is on alert and will attack either YOU or your Followers.. in which case your followers defend themselves killing important people like Brill & Belethor.. I've tried it on 3 seperate characters.. and while the grabbing of extra gear to sell off the bandits is pretty sweet... the Confusion caused to the gurds and NPC's of the hold is not really worth it becasue it ruins the game immersion.

Also, the bandits respawn too fast and its far too predictable.. every city you visit expect a bandit raid upon your first visit.. thats no good.... great idea tho just no very good execution.. you fix thos things i'll grab it back.. thx for the experience! =)
UrCentrelink 25 Mar, 2016 @ 2:54pm
dude why dont have put in spelltomes to summon guards like some other mods have to summon like stormcloacks and imperials
Loreknight 23 Feb, 2016 @ 2:07pm
compatability with open cities?
Wextl 19 Feb, 2016 @ 7:34am
does this clash with OBIS
Firehawk 2 Feb, 2016 @ 4:51am
Just a suggestion, but what do you think of making it so the bandits spawn further away from the cities and then having them charge in to attack instead of them mass spawning outside? It would make it easier for lower lvl chars to get to the city for protection, or if you're feeling wreckless, can try to take them out yourself.
John Robert Gaming 12 Dec, 2015 @ 9:38pm
does this make every bandit in the game stronger?
A 19 Sep, 2015 @ 9:23am
no conflict with OBIS i presume?
SilverCenturion 29 Jul, 2015 @ 7:21pm
works great, love it, great job! only complaint is the mercs are hard to tell from the bandits in combat becuase of the armour.
green beans 29 Jul, 2015 @ 2:33pm
Made my pc crash, then I had to reset my hard drive and lost everything on my pc.

Why?
Sweet Man 20 Jul, 2015 @ 7:01pm
I heard a guard say it's been too long since a good bandit raid right after we were done fighting off a bandit raid.
CplCrutons 28 Jun, 2015 @ 7:31am
i like this mod!
Amara the Barbarian 15 Jun, 2015 @ 11:28am
I am so happy that you made a lite version since the last time I checked. I used to have the regular, a damage tweaking mod, and nightmare increased enemy spawns together and it was almost certain death. Way fun but death, which sucked because all the individual mods were fantastic, but the interactions with eachother...
Senku 5 Jun, 2015 @ 9:09am
Is this for vanilla skyrim?
lvl 24 weed wizard 28 May, 2015 @ 8:06pm
I sorta forgot i installed this, so my jaw dropped when I saw a surge of bandits roaring up the hill to Riften. Even though they die quickly on their own standing out in the open to the barrage of thunder spells gets you killed so quickly XD.

So worthy of an upvote.
Two-Ton Kid 14 May, 2015 @ 2:17am
Great stuff. Well done and many thanks. I love Skyrim bandits.
catwthumbz 27 Apr, 2015 @ 9:51am
if townspeople die, go into console, click said dead person. type "resurrect". then your done, and they will go back to normal.
frederick 22 Mar, 2015 @ 10:22am
I was playing with the mod.. and a guard says along time the bandits dosent make a good raid , later the bandits come and destroy all the city xD
Jaido 16 Mar, 2015 @ 12:52am
can you make it so the townmans dont die
Cytrix Drakani 4 Mar, 2015 @ 10:44am
looks cool
Raziel Ryuki 11 Feb, 2015 @ 1:53am
Using with SkyRe and an assortment of other mods. If they don't simply crash the game at some point during the encounter (Solitude carriage fast travel insta-crashes 99.9% of the time because of the spawn size and immediate engagement of X number of parts trying to move at the same time. And I don't have a push over computer). Most of the time, they are also considerably overpowered. Whiterun's encounter was a bit more balanced. (Speaking from a level 10's perspective).
Chroma Collective 18 Jan, 2015 @ 1:32pm
nvm
i was leveling like crazy!
Chroma Collective 18 Jan, 2015 @ 12:41pm
when do they spawn?
Patchouli 28 Dec, 2014 @ 9:49pm
I used this for a while.
It was fun, up until they killed literally everyone who lived at the Left-Hand mine.
