The mod should still work for the base game. If you have the WotC DLC then this mod doesn't work. If you have the Long War mod then this mod is not needed anymore.

Yall know if this mod is still working for classic xcom 2 tryna get this for my first play through to make it easy for me dont play these type of genre games
Nasarog 4 Sep, 2017 @ 2:06pm
That's too bad, but thanks for your previous work. I really appreciate it.

I just realized modding is different then editing the ini file so belay that I dont know what Im doing
Dęąth Viper 4 Sep, 2017 @ 1:50pm
yeah they still have that dumb shit where every mission will DC a region except guerilla ops
BigAl  [author] 4 Sep, 2017 @ 1:16pm
@frizzeldian12 I haven't looked into the DLC, and I didn't even know that the region mechanic is still in the game with the DLC. Unfortunately it's safe to say that I'm not going to update the mod. So it would be great if you could update the code or make some kind of replacement mod.

I can make a mod that increases the doom tracker to 100 and gives you -5 doom deleter for a lot of events so you basically dont have to worry... would you guys sub to that? If I dont get his permission to use this mod
Dęąth Viper 3 Sep, 2017 @ 12:08pm
if you dont mind me using your code Ill update it for you.. ?
Nasarog 3 Sep, 2017 @ 11:25am
I woul dlove for an update to this mod.
Dęąth Viper 1 Sep, 2017 @ 1:53pm
CONFIRMED. This needs an update for WotC

I feel like this either should be vanilla or vanilla should explain before skipping one that you'll lose the area before hand instead of "It's a bad idea". TY for making this!

Thank you.

@Nasarog In LW, there are no region losses for skipping missions, so you don't need this mod when playing LW
Nasarog 30 Jan, 2017 @ 7:48am
Is this mod LW 2 compatible?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation 5 Jun, 2016 @ 11:18pm
@Artuurs ever consider that having a moddable game means it is meant to be enjoyed however one wishes, and besides some of us like my self are using this to balance out the game that we made harder in every other aspect
Artuurs 10 May, 2016 @ 9:29am
I feel sorry for whatever weaklings actualy fail at these missions and thinks of using this cheat, never seen anyone fail at these, MetalCanyon certainly hasnt.

Nexus, please?

@MINERAL-115
@Vitkar
I added a supply penalty option to the mod, wasn't sure initially how the penalty function worked.
It is turned off by default, but you can change it in the config file.
BigAl  [author] 13 Mar, 2016 @ 8:51am
@Byagoona Yes, it is a feature in the base game. You don't really notice it until you are getting overwhelmed by the aliens, then you start losing soldiers and missions - and also regions.
Narrelama 13 Mar, 2016 @ 7:58am
Hmh? Was that even a feature in this game??
MINERAL-115 12 Mar, 2016 @ 4:36pm
I'd like to second Vitkar's comment; "How about changing the "punishment" to a decrease in supplies from that region, like it happens if you lose retalition in your home zone?"

At very least, an .ini toggle to enable or disable this would be appreciated.
Graun 11 Mar, 2016 @ 4:47am
Thank you, I always considered the loss of a region due to me not raiding a convoy was a bit silly.
LAJ-47FC9 10 Mar, 2016 @ 11:16pm
I could kiss you, author.
Ciroth 10 Mar, 2016 @ 8:14pm
@Fuzzyballs01, I'd call it less of a cheating mod but more of a rebalance common sense mod. I don't get why not going on a supply raid would lose a whole area, same with a landed UFO.
Fuzzyballs01 ꦙ 9 Mar, 2016 @ 1:20am
would this be considered a cheating mod?

yes, it would, and my momma ain't raise on cheater
Dragoon 8 Mar, 2016 @ 6:43pm
You can lose a region? I had no idea.
Anisotropic 8 Mar, 2016 @ 6:13pm
Sweet! I've been looking for this, thought I would have to make it myself.

I don't really think this is unbalanced since it's only really relevant when the game is snowballing against you. But, it does make the missions feel more like opportunities instead of obligations.
Vitkar 8 Mar, 2016 @ 5:36pm

Arkan 8 Mar, 2016 @ 5:11pm
Ok! :CSAT:
DabHand 8 Mar, 2016 @ 4:36pm
