Can confirm this works just fine for WOTC in 2022

Any way to add the "avatar" hair and "advent" helmets to this list?
Chiron 17 Jun, 2020 @ 11:30pm
@c0mc0 totally agree LOL especially the "cropped T-ARMOR" was a bullshit in battlefield.
c0mc0 28 Sep, 2017 @ 7:49am
Would love to see this get updated.
Gunboat Diplomat 5 Sep, 2017 @ 1:16pm
Given that this only removes items from a DLC that isn't classed as having been integrated into WotC (like Hunters and Last Gift), I'd assume this should still be okay. It'd just need a recompile to get rid of the warning.

Haven't tested it myself yet.
c0mc0 1 Sep, 2017 @ 5:31am
@Strife - Among other things, it removes a lot of the 'circus clown' Anarcy stuff completely, so if you're like me and you never use most of that crap - like 1930s style pilot googles(?!), then you won't have to waste time scrolling through them all the time.

Hope to see this one updated to support WotC?

I having trouble to understand what this mod exactly changes. Will it prevent newly generated soldiers from looking odd due to the anarchy DLC?
DrakkonWarrior 29 Jun, 2017 @ 11:17pm
correction: its doing it on female too, the vests, which by the config file should be nowhere, are still available to pick
DrakkonWarrior 29 Jun, 2017 @ 10:48pm
@the PM hey, something I'm seeing and confused about: I looked at but haven't messed with the male armors in the config file, however, in game the 3 kevlar vest pieces are no longer showing with the Children of Anarchy symbol, as they are removed in the base mod, but they are showing up further down the list with no symbol and can be combined with other armor pieces. Is there something I need to do or did I miss something? This is the only mod I have dealing with those armor pieces, so I know it's not a conflict there

Haha, a mod that disables DLC. Now that's refreshing:steamhappy:
Biff Webster 12 Sep, 2016 @ 1:12am
anarchys children added so much disgusting looking content, thanks for this
Deathjester 12 May, 2016 @ 3:18pm
Thank you!
Zyxpsilon 19 Apr, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Worked flawlessly... that's exactly where your solid skills & DLC assets (Armors, etc) experience could help me out much in this special wacky case since such code logic would have eluded my attempts for awhile if not forever!! Thanks a lot -- again, PM. :)
Zyxpsilon 19 Apr, 2016 @ 4:51pm
Oh-right, of course... i'll give that a try. Thanks!
The PM  [author] 19 Apr, 2016 @ 2:46pm
Zyxpsilon, you should be able to do that if you edit the DLC's ini file. Just remove the set name from all of the torsos. I'm pretty sure that will work. Make a back up of the file before you do it, though. File location is somewhere near here: C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\DLC\DLC_1\Config\XComContent.ini

Here's a weird request.
Since this is about having "Less Anarchy content" via config options... i wonder if you could also fix the newest Torso switch "flaw" that also binds their corresponding arms & legs to any accidental-clicks directed at the bottom AC slots.

True anarchy default processing if there's ever one!
So if i decide to return to the real Torso-0... i then **must** return to the arms & legs options to repair the wrongfully triggered AC bare-arms and their various secondary "parts" back to the combined regular system(s) of the vanilla tiers.
It's annoying.. but that's how Firaxis coded that stuff.
Please?

Thanks The PM thats exactaly what I needed to understand it better and now know what i'm doing. I'll post in the discussion if I ever have any more questions, but I think I got this now.
The PM  [author] 4 Apr, 2016 @ 11:24pm
Added instructions to the discussion section above. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

I'm about to go fly, but I can clear it up for you when I'm home later tonight.
Rm860 4 Apr, 2016 @ 5:34pm
ok just a little confused about the mods config file which i'm editing to restore the options removed by this mod. The first area under Conventional DLC 30 Armor Male are the - (minus) ones those that are totally removed from the game? The ;- are those items removed from the games kevlar options and added to other tier options only?

So to keep the kevlar options for kevlar armor in game do I just change the ;-, or - into a + to keep them in game? This i'm unsure of but i think I figured out how to customise the progressive options finally. Can someone clear up my confusion?
jaeger 3 Apr, 2016 @ 8:05pm
thanks for the mod and the comment describing how to add whatever extra armor piece for the higher levels that we want to. even though you didn't add all the options from the start, it was very easy to follow the existing format and i wouldn't have known how to without seeing how it was done first, so much gratitude from me
Rm860 3 Apr, 2016 @ 2:53pm
I just thought i'd request it, never hurts to ask. I know you are doing mods you like and you only have so much time I get it. My time is limited as well. I didn't expect you to drop your projects for me and admitatly few who want the same. I'll look into editing the ini and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for the feedback i'll give it a shot.
The PM  [author] 3 Apr, 2016 @ 1:21am
That being said, you can probably figure out how to add this yourself by looking at the end of my ini listed above. There is a section that is called ADDED THESE TO GIVE OPTIONS AT OTHER TIERS. Then, you can see that format, and you can scroll earlier in that ini to get the original template lines of the ones I chose not to use.

The biggest things you have to change is make sure it is a + instead of -, that the template name is unique (I add things like _PLT_ for plated in there) and that the ArmorTemplate matches the armor type. I would remove the SetName stuff if you plan to be able to mix and match.

You can edit that ini directly, but I would save a copy of it so that it doesn't get overwritten if I update. Alternatively, you could edit the original DLCs or games content.ini.

Sorry, I have to priotitze, and I focus on the edits that I am going to enjoy in game. But, there, I just taught you how to fish ;)
The PM  [author] 3 Apr, 2016 @ 1:21am
I'm sorry, Rm860, I know you really want this feature. It is a little time consuming for me to implement and I really have no desire to do so at this time :/ I've got several other projects I am working on and time is precious (I hate saying that, I really do).
Rm860 2 Apr, 2016 @ 11:02am
can you make a version of this that adds all the torsos and legs so they are available on predatoe, warden, and war armors. Some of us want to keep all the anarchy stuff. Is there a way to edit the config file to allow the Anarchy stuff to be progressively available or just available?
The PM  [author] 27 Mar, 2016 @ 9:52am
I have updated the mod to allow access to some of the torsos and legs on the Predator, Warden, and WAR armors. If you do not like this, you can disable it in the ini in the directions above.

For those that hate the original tier 3 power armors, I have created a "Director's Cut" which removes them (mostly). https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=654088217
BHunterSEAL 26 Mar, 2016 @ 3:02pm
I love you for this
The PM  [author] 24 Mar, 2016 @ 11:54pm
Config file now has all lines from DLC. To remove additional items or restore ones I disabled, go to C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\648789483\Config\XComContent.ini and comment or uncomment appropriately.
Kelloggs 21 Mar, 2016 @ 9:13am
Ah! Awesome, thank you!
The PM  [author] 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:40am
Kellogs, yeah, I plan to do that when I get back home on Friday. I thought about it afterwards. In theeantime, you can find the ones you want to disable by finding the xcomcontent.ini in the dlc folder in your game folder, copy the lines of the ones I missed, paste the into the ini I liked a few cmenta ago and just change the plus signs to -
Kelloggs 20 Mar, 2016 @ 8:00pm
Hey there! Thanks for this mod! This is god sent!

Could you also put the text for all the DLC parts in your .ini ( as comment ) so the user can choose to remove even more armor parts from the DLC?

There are still several helmets that I don't like that made it through your filter. I would love to be able to expand the list of "items to be removed" .

Thank you so much for the mod
Raccoon Thing 20 Mar, 2016 @ 2:39pm
Thank you for making this, now I can get the season pass without my people turning into teen clowns!

Jesus, thanks for making this.

Found it mate. Great help. Thx
The PM  [author] 20 Mar, 2016 @ 12:50pm
Sorry, going from memory as I'm not at my computer.
The PM  [author] 20 Mar, 2016 @ 12:49pm
The file for my mod that I used to comment out will be in a path likeC:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\648789483\Config\XComContent.ini. The actual DLCs file will be buried in your xcom game directory under mods and dlc_day1 or something like that.
6 + 8 = 27 20 Mar, 2016 @ 12:31pm
Mate how do you find the DLC's parts in XComContent.ini? I just can't find them XD. Could please give a line of the DLC content? Thx Mate
tilarium 19 Mar, 2016 @ 9:22pm
Cool thanks! I like a lot of the things given by Anarchy Children but I prefer a nice para-military image and so a lot of things are just wasted clickers for me.
