this mod aged poorly, granted this is a more healing oriented version as opposed to taking your units out of action with Stasis or Mind Control . . . so I guess rename this to the Cleric if you ever plan on making a WOTC version?

I mean, the Priests here compared to the WOTC enemy are still pretty different.

Different abilities and armor, so the only connection is the name, armor color and being an Advent unit that uses Psionics in general.

@thecrafter354 This mod was made LONG before WOTC came out, look at the date. Besides there would be a reason regardless, Vanilla players.

I guess that I've gotten away with it until now, but I've always assumed that anything which is made for Vanilla should more or less work with LW 2. That's totally my fault. I'll remove my thumbs down (thanks for your work to the author!).

I can't wait until LWOTC is completed :steamhappy:

What he's trying to say; officially this mod is not compatible with LW2 and never claimed otherwise so you shouldn't blame if you didn't receive your expectation. If you interested, here my half-ass attempt to integration. ( https://drive.google.com/open?id=1h1lA0UQfiigxf_W99YFs-YX0ehp8PAQo ) Just Unrar upon steam folder wherever it is and say yes to overwrites. This includes necessary edits for both Advent Priest and Expanded Enemy Reinforcements Mod (Vanilla/LW2 version which is no longer supported) My collection (public version haven't seen an update for awhile) includes almost all enemy mods -fully compatible for LW2- and some half-compatible ones ("fixes" by me) such as Advent Priest and Advent Pathfinder vanilla version. At least now I can say that Priests are mixed to compose pods with almost all known enemy types and higher tier Priests are using their powers (rarely) for the well-being of their pods.

Yeah, after playing a few missions with these guys in them, I noticed that psi powers aren't even being used. Such a great concept for LW 2. I'm going to have to downvote though because they're behaving like regular ADVENT Troopers.

Actually i've made some adjustments to more "compatibility for LW2" and i'm using with my personal collection. Basically, they' re just some .ini edits -force level adjusments; simulating Long War 2 formulae - so they're appearing at reasonable tech levels and with almost all enemy pods. I believe some native issues remain however; they're using psi-powers very rarely and acting and behaving more like common Trooper. New Long War of the Chosen Development Team had similar issues with WOTC's original Priest and they've solved that with some modding adjustments. But thats beyond me, i'm afraid.

I can confirm that this works in LW 2. I just added this MOD mid-campaign while I was in the Avenger. During the next mission, an Advanced Priest showed up. I don't think it added to the total pod sizes either.

Honestly, it would be stellar if we "Long Warriors" have own priests. (I believe that current player base is playing either WoTC or LW2; there are no more "pure vanilla" players anymore) Did you considered to make your enemies compatible to LW2, in a way similar to Ashlynne's enemies?

Two very similar enemies visually and in name, but vastly different in function.

I still want to see the game spawn both types of priests in the same pod.

So from my playthorugh so far with WotC, the Priest from this mod doesnt show up, like at all. It also makes it so you don't see the autopsy video of the priest in game, and you can get the meld grenade from the autopsy.

does the mend grenade/bomb cure any poisons/acid/burning like the Heal Grenade Updated does? I'm thinking of getting rid of that mod if so, being redundant.

It's a cool mod but the autopsy shouldn't require five corpses because I had almost finished the game by the time I was able to complete the autopsy. The autopsy should require one corpse as that is the amount that all the vanilla autopsies require

However, there are ~16MB that aren't needed in it, the "XComGame"-Folder in the "Src"-Folder, which is not needed to my knowledge. (and other enemy-mods don't include it either)
