Also behaves nicely in Earth Deserts. Forget Mars though. As for how they work, I dont even know how it works. I'm surprised it can even hold the weight of a blast door clad frame, heavy armor body, and a large fully loaded turret on top.

Yeah those 1x1 wheels are nigh useless, but this is the only time I've ever seen them work so I'm a little impressed. I like the 'alien' planet because it has nice rolling terrain, and this copes fine with anything that isn't rocky or on a terrible gradient I'm finding.

Plus it's just so silly how can someone not like it.

The major problem is the entire back wheel setup, since the wheels be have "Illegally" being, the tires themselves behave nicely. But the mounts of the wheels themselves, the little bubbly bits, have a more rugged collision mesh, thats also a tiiiiiny bit bigger than the wheel itself, so they bump and toss eachother about a ton

You're too hard on yourself, this works just fine within the parameters you've set. With the current suckiness wheels in general have right now, I was expecting a lot worse from the description.
