Regarding AI stopping wonder production, that must be coincidental. Perhaps they had visibility in your city and saw that they could not beat you? Dunno if the AI is smart enough to do that. But this mod doesn't affect AI behaviour in any way.

The AI does not get these notifications, only the player does (and the AI wouldn't know what to do with it if it did).

To elucidate, when I get a notice that I am winning a Wonder Race by a considerable margin, I will put another build in before that Wonder ... For example, perhaps a military unit; or a production building ... such that there still will be enough turns to beat the AI.
AND when the Wonder gets to the top of the production list, the AI still is working at the same wonder; as evidenced by a new Wonder Race notice stating the updated completion margin :CapitalDome:

I noticed, when you are wining the wonder race the AI stops building that wonder. Is that normal. The AI also does`t switch to build another world wonder although it could.

Ever think of making a mod that makes it so you can only build wonders your civilization built in real life? I think Civ 6 has a mod like that.

Running with that many mods always carries a risk of conflict. Just try to deactivate a handful at a time and rule them out, you'll find it eventually. If there are mods that add or change Notifications or the DiploCorner menu, start with those.

@Charles V. Alkan sounds like a conflict with another mod. Try without any other mods activated. Also, which language is your game using?

mod doesn't work for me unfortunately, the option on the menu isn't there, and if i lost a wonder race a weird message pops up "txt_key_misc_lost_wonder_prod_converted_s" and a tiny question mark logo appears next to the wonder's icon, is the mod bugged or its a compatibility issue ?

@Sloppy Joe Just turn off Notify Competitor ID in the Wonder Race Options panel. That will hide the Leader name and City name if you don't know them yet.

Hey, i was trying to use ur Wonder Race mod in multiplayer, but it seems only player 1 gets the notifications. Is there any way to enable it so all players get the notifications? Thank you

TheChabo, have you tried selecting the mods via the Mod menu item before you load the saved game? If that doesn't work, it sounds like a general problem with your installation, not with this or any other mod. Try clearing the Steam cache and/or reinstalling the game.

Is there a way that the mod still works, even if i close the game and reload the savegame. I got this problem with many mods, which basically means i can only use them in the first session of a game.

Daqidius, to be clear, are we talking about wonders that you are also constructing? Or any wonder? Because those can be turned off too.

It seems to me that for something big like a Wonder being built somewhere, even in the "undiscovered world", rumors would be leaking back from trader/caravan/traveler interactions.
So notification of such a project without nation ID is entirely reasonable & plausible. :Norse:

There is already the option to hide the identity and location for players you have not met. If I understand you correctly, you would like to get no notification at all when you haven't met the player?

Hi , thank you for this mod. While i was playing i felt a little bit cheating. Can you add one more option ?
I would like to see the notification only from civilization i have met. That makes sence to me, i meet someone , we trade > i know if he/she start to build a wonder. I feel i should not know about building wonder from civs i didnt met yet.

Thanks. If you have FireTuner, you can also write "OnDiploCornerPopup()" in the console. That will open the options panel.

VP? As I understand it EUI is modular - maybe you can disable the part that modifies the DiploCorner menu. Or you can start a game without EUI, set the options you want, then start a new game. WR will remember your choice.

I've added an options panel to the DiploCorner menu (see screenshot how to find it). No more fiddling around with mod files in order to change the mod's behaviour :-)

@Rspinelle Hence the different modes/options. Some people feel comfortable with different levels of information. There are similar discussions about InfoAddict and similar mods. If you don't like using even the basic version, no one is forcing you :)

Not unless the game itself actively forces everyone to use the same mods. Which is not unlikely, but I don't know. Try it out.

But you should know that the original mod was not designed to work in multiplayer. It may only work if you are the first player. I tried to add multiplayer support, but I haven't actually tested it with other people. You are very welcome to report back whether it works :)

That does sound odd. Do you have any other mods enabled? If you want to figure out what is happening, you could enable logging and check out what it says. Or you could load the game with the In Game Editor mod and check out your opponents. If you send me a save game I can also have a look at it.

Mod is great, thank you. A little odd behaviour I've noticed, however. It just happened in the game that I'm in, and I've noticed it once or twice before. It tels me that I'm wining a wonder race when I don't see how anyone else could be building that wonder. In the curent game, for example, I belined Theology and started building the Hagia Sophia. A few turns later, it tells me that I'm wining that wonder race. Great news, except that every other player is still in the Classical Era, meaning that they could not have discovered Theology and could not posibly be building the Hagia Sopia. It is a Pangea map and I have discovered every other civilization. Any idea why this is happening? It doesn't detract from the mod at al, just a tad odd.
