I will give the respective thanks, and I will not say that the models are mine.
According to his reasons, "replenishment" of armies is not historical. Yeah, that's bullsh1t. Troop replenishment is very historical and was present all throughout the ancient world, yet here it is now disabled, doesn't work even when your armies are garrisoned in provincial capitals, and the recruitment of troops is also ridiculously long. Agents are also extremely nerfed to where champions can't even be used anymore for military training, nor most others, and the army marching types as well as the edicts have been altered and made substantially worse.
I just dipped into it. It might be interesting combing elements of both the original masterpiece from Phalangitis and the new updates. Try it out and let me know what you think.
i would give all my money for this mod to get updated (talking for the first version) , was waiting for it years and i appreciate that you guys did it, BUT why you touched unit skins?? this mod was known for being 100% historical accurate and you destroyed that feature.. i downloaded and tested the new hellenika version and played custom battle to check all units to see what you did and you completely fucked this up.. sorry but im dissappointed ..
Your client Poleis feel more unique in this way where Ambrakia has a much larger 'Xenoi' population making it easier to recruit local Ambrakiote units as opposed to Korinthian units.
That said, I miss some of the original scripting that kept Persia out of the war until mid/late game. The original PO system was also superior which allowed you to keep your empire under control with military victories - while punishing the player greatly for defeat...This is exactly how ancient Hellas functioned and made this mod so great.
They didn't wear palace hats like that in battle.
and the cavalry arm armor is from a later era. the arm armor appears in the age of Alexander.
at that time The cavalry hide their scale armor under their clothes and riding armored horse
