9/30/2017 MISSION UPDATE: Updated VCOM AI to latest script version. Added Loadout manager to arsenals. Added a new spawn area and Pilot slots. Added Tasking for rescuing downed pilots to players. As always, Enjoy!

9/23/2017 MISSION UPDATE: Complete overhaul of the campaign including the introduction of a dynamic air combat element with both British and SLA aircraft fighting for control of the skies. Added my brand new VCOM AI OPFOR enhanced SLA with dynamic static weapon placement. Included VCOM AI in script form so there is no need for players to run VCOM or any other AI mod separately while playing.

5/18/2017 MISSION UPDATE: Dropped the Beazly MAN Trucks dependency and revamped British Combined Factions config. Added some performance tweaks and a Harrier CAS asset. All required mods are now available on Steam Workshop for ease of use.

@NOVAFLAME475...you can remove that in the mission.sqf if you unpack the pbo. I'll remove it on the next update. I must have had ASR AI active when I saved the scenario. I plan on producing an update for this sometime this week regardless.

ive got it running on a dedicated server its great i updated the fobs a little with my own touches for immersion and im juts wondering if you could add some ambient life ? civs driving around / walking around ? i like the mission though:steamhappy: gg

UPDATE: Pretty substantial update folks. Lots of optimizations to the mission. 3 new British Vehicles added...Burnes outstanding Foxhound and Husky vehicles, as well as MAN Trucks for transport and logistics. I also created my own custom config for the British forces to be combined into one complete faction. NOTE: You CAN download and use this config in NON-ALiVE missions and they will work great in the editor, etc. It also greatly enhances the use of ALiVE logistics, reinforcements, and command aspects by combining all of 3CB, CUP, and Burnes Brits into one single army faction. Make sure you download the config and new vehicles listed above. As always...I hope you enjoy my campaign.

I keep getting stuck loading at "AuburnAlumni Presents..." only error that popper up prior was due to a missing file for a static weapon? Any tips on fixing this?

When i scroll my mouse over rmultipalyer i cant highlight any of the options so i cant play. Doesnt give me the option to click a multiplayer game mode at the menu.

If you don't have a slot to select, that's a sign that you are either missing a mod or have an outdated version of a mod.

UPDATE: Added Several new British Vehicles and Armor, including Mastiffs, Ridgebacks, and Warriors. These have also been added to the Vehicle Spawners. Enjoy!

Regarding my last comment, I used the cup complete from armaholic instead of cup terrains from the workshop and it worked fine. Will post what I think of the mission after playing multiple times with friends.

When I try playing this mission I get the following error https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=664380580 followed by the lobby looking like this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=664380588 and we are unable to even play the mission. We all have all the mods required, is their a compatibility issue with some of our other mods?

So I put the .pbo in the missions folder went to start it and Arma crashed saying it was trying to reference memory that could not be written. I've never seen that error before. Any ideas? Thank you so much ahead of time!

@discororo I'd definitely recommend checking out the ALiVE wiki and browsing their forums for how to play (or at the very least, look up how to use the commander tablet. There you can call in supplies and reinforcements, as well as CAS support and transport...though I can't remember offhand if he has these features in this specific mission).

I find in this mission specifically, it is essential that someone, either you, your friends or AI; preferably multiple people/units, carry either the NLAW launcher (very easy to use. One shot and discard. Lock onto a tank with "T." Pack several in your truck) or a Javelin (for how to use, please visit the 3CB Weapons BIS page). The tanks in this mission will totally decimate you so you need some way to take them out. I believe Artillery support is available too through the commander tablet as well.

Is this scenario dynamic and no set tasks such as Attack/destroy type tasks? Just like the longer lasting scenarios.

@discororo When I first started playing ALiVE, I was just as confused as you. This is a conventional ALiVE mission, so unless you create a task under the "Tasks" option in the Commander Tablet, how you approach the mission is up to you.

For instance, one night you may be on alone or with a small group and decide to go out and do some recon (let's say by marking enemy movement on your map using the ALiVE map markers. Left ctrl + left click if I recall). If you're using persistence which I highly recommend, the next day you can bring out a much bigger team with either AI or your friends and go take out those places you reconned.

Or you can take an air team out and kill OPFOR that way. The possibilities are endless.

If you prefer a slightly more structured mission, you may prefer his British Steel mission which is an ALiVE insurgency where you go out and talk to civs and blow up weapons caches and take out Taliban HQ's!

@discoro. The warning is fine. Ignore that. This is a dynamic campaign. There are no set "take out the tower" type tasks, although you can use the tasks with the command tablet. Read this: http://alivemod.com/wiki/index.php/Command_%26_Control . You'll see current military of jetties, towns controlled by both friendly and enemy forces, as well as current objectives of your forces. Where you choose to attack, defend is totally up to you and your players. It's very dynamic.

OK, now for a complete beginner, I am trying to play SP. The mission loads fine through either scenario or MP lan. Too many objectives warning pops up but, there are none in the briefing. All that appears is the sitrep. No tasks or guidance as to how to begin. Just three squads standing about. What am i missing?
