This definitely looks cool as heck; I'd also love to see an auto-disable-for-NPC-grids like Realistic Thrusters has!

I was unable to recreate flipping issue on a ship with 2 subgrids in a world with this mod and RSS alone, so the problem must lie somewhere else. But if you're using RSS, then you should use Real Orbits instead of OS, as the latter is strictly for vanilla worlds with fixed planets.

When I use this mod with RSS, my ships begin to flip wildly and uncontrollably if there are two subgrids attached to eachother. Where can I find the config files to try and fix this, or at least disable this mod within Orbiter Simulator?

There is no exclusion tag and no plans to add one.

Is it possible to limit the effects of this system to a per-ship basis? Or is it strictly all player controlled(less remote control, etc.) ships? I didn't see anything about an exclusion tag above. And if there isn't one, would it be possible to add one? A check on the data of a cockpit for said tag perhaps?

Tried to travel between Venus and Mercury in Dogfish Frigate when using RSS. Didn't notice anything breaking, so the CoM problem doesn't seem to be related to RSS.

Did you happen to add an ignore grid feature to stop MES from using this? If so it would be nice to use alongside instead of abandoning this. It is absolutely the best mod for this kind of thing and is a huge amazing addition. I wish I could shovel money at you and Keen to get this as vanilla, or at least optional.

I don't see why it shouldn't. Thrust and aerodynamics don't depend on each other.

I can second that, The reavers are spinning out of control. It's wildly entertaining and they are impossible to aim at. Love the mod, great work.

enabling thrust limiter on linear dampeners greatly helps the ship staying stable e stopping from moving. also double tapping Z (off-on) seems to help stop the drift

IDs work as they should on my end. Make sure you didn't accidentally disable them from cockpit -- there are several buttons at the bottom of control panel which do that.

New autopilot still disables thrust override completely, so no change in this regard.

Is this effectively just an extended version of the "realistic thrusters" mod? Does it offer the same base functionality, or does this do entirely different things?

I want realistic thrusters that actually work the way you expect them to, and I'd ideally want to be able to easily use thrusters to steer ships in space, as opposed to the bogus that is gyroscope control.

Does this mod do that or nah?

you claim that this is sloppy written but under the hood this mod looks fantastic!

I am pretty sure that these changes you have made has actually increased the performance of thrusters in multiplayer, you can have more thruster blocks with the same sim speed than in vanilla multiplayer. Hats off to you good sir!

No. Use Realistic Thrusters . Making script-controller NPC ships to work with this mod requires extra work.

We use it on the Server for quite some time now and have no issues. We are not in planets currently, though. And the fact that we use No Dampeners Mod might also circumvent something that might not work perfectly, but also I can not remember problems from before we introduced that one.
I would say: Just use it on you server until there is a real problem you cannot live with.
