Hi just checking this mod, and after defeating the guard units, it's empty LOL, no units there.

Working like a champ. Thanks, RMG placement is always so horrible.
Dr@g0n 16 Feb, 2020 @ 10:16am
havent foudn any of these
Regale 22 May, 2019 @ 11:42pm
I'm unsure if this is working. I keep looking around the map and I can't find it on my randomly generated map.
Uber-n00bie 20 Feb, 2018 @ 1:20am
@nvernon - I don't believe it does. At least, not for me.
nvernon 15 May, 2017 @ 11:03am
Hi is this compatible with Dark Elf Dwelling, Beastman Dwelling, The Old Man and the Sea, and Decodence - RMG Integration?
Nordos/atord 15 Mar, 2017 @ 9:03am
Uh, I can't rebuild any dwellings. I can rebuild razed Cities with the Found Dwelling ability, turning them into cities as well (and their image into placeholders).
I have the fear that it is rather a hardcoded problem... Or maybe it has something to do with the remains of the dwellings not being able to be rebuilt? To prevent normal settler to rebuild it into a main race dwelling instead of a city . . .

Turns out it was working, it just doesn't appear black unless it's actually in vision. If it's not in vision range, it appears like a normal trading post.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 28 Sep, 2016 @ 1:54am
The structure looks like a black Trading post
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 28 Sep, 2016 @ 1:53am
Ya it should do Ive used it very recently
Pentarctagon 19 Sep, 2016 @ 10:55pm
Does this mod still work? I removed all other mods and started a new large random map with exploration disabled, but I can't seem to find the structure shown in the first image.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 23 May, 2016 @ 7:59am
1 yes but I don't know why you would want to unless your razed dwelling is already is an amazing location

2. No, as long as your running the mod The Black Market structure will appear on the map. If you don't want it to just disable the mod.
Chuckstarrious 22 May, 2016 @ 3:06am
Two questions:

1. Can these settlers be used to restore razed dwellings?

2. If City Founding in the gmae setup page is disabled, are these settlers rendered useless too?

Thank you for the tip

In the post Below I've left instructions IF you run into any compatability problems with other mods. You shouldn't run into any problems! But if you have other conflicting mods running that use the Random Map Generator and prevent the market from spawning, below is an example of how to make a patch. In this instance I've used Racial Watchtowers. However this will work for pretty much everything else you will have problems with.
If you have problems doing this, send me a friend request and I've left the patch in friends only. I didn't want to take up useless space on the workshop for something so simple.

Aow 3 Launcher /UserContent/ Open Package Manager

File New -- Enter a name for your mod. Then up top go to the "Content Bar" open packages and tick "Black Market Dwellings" and Racial Watchtowers. Now in the priority box in the bottom right make sure the priority is set to higher than that of both of the involved mods in this case 2. Next...

Launch Mod editor Aow3/ Content/Title/ Packs
select AoW_LevelGenerator.rpk

Click Generation Settings from the drop-down toolbar and on the 10th line you will see
Land (Structure). Click it and then hit modify. Bottom line on the right side of the screen you will see a line called "Generation Passes" Open it up.
Now from the "Available List" scroll down until you find "Shared- The Black Market" and double click it (it should go over into the selected list, make sure it does).
Now do exactly the same for Continent (Structure), Underground (Structure), Islands (Structure). Then file, save and your finished!!!

Just released the expansions in a new mod patch Black Market Dwellings(XPAC). Thankyou very much to my volunteer testers, much appreciated. If you choose to you can download it to have Naga and Merfolk Settlers added to the spawning units.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 23 Apr, 2016 @ 8:20am
Sounds Great, I've already had one tester come back with the all clear but as a security measure I can definately use more
ZupaleX 23 Apr, 2016 @ 8:14am
Hi. I could give it a try later today if you'd like.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 23 Apr, 2016 @ 5:06am
I will need a couple of people to volunteer testing a patch to see if both dwellings spawn properrly. If the icons and everything show ill release it. Note you will need to run both black market dwellings and the mod patch.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 22 Apr, 2016 @ 11:19pm
Thnx a lot both of you. I may then add the XPAC dwellings in a new mod as a patch ;). That way if you own both you can run with it. Always good to know people are enjoying the mods ;).
ZupaleX 22 Apr, 2016 @ 4:32pm
Hello. Seems like a great mod.
Since a lot of people already suggested the other races, I won't bother to add my voice for that, you already know it would be a good idea :-)
My suggestion would be to add an option like "reroll the settle for XXX gold"?
Good job.
Sunbolt 21 Apr, 2016 @ 11:48pm
Just needs the DLC dwelling races and this mod would be one of the best. I have a feeling that in the not to distant future my Naga Empire will see fruition all thanks to a pair of chocolate :steamsalty: balls.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 20 Apr, 2016 @ 1:18am
Thnx! :), my friends seem to enjoy it too ;). I do admit its fun being able to settle a dwelling to give it a greater Production increase or whatever else you like. Still you've go to find the right terrain for it and be able to kill the defenders. Either that or find a nice heart structure to remove terrain penalties or terraform.
Shadowspawn 19 Apr, 2016 @ 7:42pm
This looks like a really good mod. This is something I really wanted in my game the ability to create/build dwellings because when ever i find a dwelling its in a totaly worthless area, so this will be a big bonus to my gameplay.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 17 Apr, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Im glad you like it Kac44 :). But I don't think I will be making a compatibility mod for League. As much as League of extraordinary builders is fun, its a broken mod in terms of balance. You could ask the author if you like.
Kac44 17 Apr, 2016 @ 3:39am
would like to see this mod working with League of exordinary builders but anyway its rly cool. Thx
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 15 Apr, 2016 @ 3:54am
Oh and Tanksy I presume it should work with Decodence. I don't see why not. Unfortunately I can't test this myself at the moment.
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 15 Apr, 2016 @ 3:51am
Sure thing I will include all the races ;). Its not a problem really, the mod shouldn't be to hard to make. considering the settlers for non dwelling races are already existent. Your welcome :).
darth.cygnus 15 Apr, 2016 @ 12:30am
Sent you friendship request on steam for the mod CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS.
It will be great a separate building with only humanoids races! Can you include the expansions ones too? Halflings, tigrans and frostlings? And take all times you want, please, you were more than kind already :)
Tanksy 14 Apr, 2016 @ 5:10pm
Is this mod compatible with other RMG altering mods (Such as Decodence?)
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 14 Apr, 2016 @ 7:35am
Im not exactly sure I understand you lordzile. What are you trying to do? To get the mod you just subscribe. Then once you update your mod in the user content, you can play it.
LordZile 14 Apr, 2016 @ 1:37am
how do you enable the WS content. is the threw the pack manager and if so i cant find the steam WS content to import
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 13 Apr, 2016 @ 5:39am
what if I make a separate building for the humanoid Races? Its up to you really. I can have 3-4 settlers at once if you like. However I can't guarantee you won't get multiple settlers of one race. If you would really like add me on steam and I can easier let you know when I've finished it. it won't be hard without the dwelling races.
darth.cygnus 13 Apr, 2016 @ 12:28am
There will be a single settler, like it is now, or 3-4 settlers at once?
CHOCOLATE-SALTY-BALLS  [author] 12 Apr, 2016 @ 3:50am
Glad you like it ;). Also by all settlers you mean the ones from the normal races( Human,Elf etc?) I could defiantly do that. However I don't think people would appreciate if I did it with this mod. It would lower your chances of seeing a dwelling and thats its main purpose ;). If you would like I could add the the other races in and email the mod to you or something, provided you don't use it for publishing. Adding the ones from the expansion dwellings will take more time though.
darth.cygnus 12 Apr, 2016 @ 2:07am
Cool mod! It is possible to add settllers from all the races? So one can create a multicultural society even in maps where there are no cities foe example.
