oh dude, i just modified the original game code before knowing yours, for me it's really a hard try, having no idea with all those tags and lua tricks. And it's been already 8 years lol.

I like this idea! Assuming you can already freeze them with ice then yes, this should have been added by default.

Killing the Quacken is even cheaper than ice or ice staff anyways and gun powder is very cheap and anyways , you only need 17 obsidian very fast anyways , after that you'll just need it for spear/axe/machete

It just adds a tiny feature that should have been ingame to begin with. Ice might be cheaper, but its pretty inconvenient to fetch it from the fridge each time you need to set a lava pool out, considering you probably don't sit eruption out on your main island.
