This should be a very lightweight mod, but it loads several models that don't exist.

I'm having trouble resizing the grid for smaller tiles to better match the other objects on the board. Whenever I use Gizmo to resize the grid the lines disappear or get very faint. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Is there a guide somewhere on how to set this up? I have a scene for D&D I want to use, but half the 3d models cover the grid. THis feature would be nice so we can see the lines on everything, but I can't figure out how to make it work.

Almega,
Using shadows is a great idea. I have added this concept to my newest workshop (releasing today). I am surprised that more people haven't incorporated this fantastic idea into their work. I have been using shadows (privately) since the first moment I heard about it, although I didn’t know whom I had to thank for the idea. Thank You.

@versteeg.dave082. glad you find it useful. I responded to your question in the discussion section to avoid filling up the comments with a wall of text.

This is a great mod. Thanks for making it. Im a dm for the dungeons and dragons game. i make a lot of my own encounters, but this mod of yours helps a lot.
but i have a question. in your text you say "In which case you will probably want to bury the collider after you place it to avoid interfering with objects underneath."
What do you mean by that, and how do i do that, because sometimes i have object that collide with other objects and that is not good. So if you know a way to turn that of could you please explain.

Added custom table sized grids for easier placement. Made all ground tiles tintable. Let me know if this impacts anything negatively.

Thanks for letting me know, forgot to change over one of the hex grids I was testing... Also, added Hex grids :) Should be fixed now. Let me know if there are other modifications you would like to see. Feedback appreciated.

Custom model loading errors. url points to the C drive??
Hopefully it will be fixed because this is a great idea.

Fantastic idea Al! Being able to adjust the table's grid to morph over uneven objects is a feature the TTS devs should really implement and this is a great example of how useful that can be for RPGs and Wargaming. Again, great tool, clear and helpful instructions and nice presentation. Will definitely be playing around with these next time I make a new RPG set up! :Honored:
