So this should be 281990/682064717.
You will need to use a mod that gives you specific stuff without the AI getting it, like the Easy Mode mod or the Deus Ex mod.
I'll look into it
Individualist> and <fanatic collectiveist
Making somthing like that would shoot you to the top of the "popular" mods ladder for a while for sure, there is no way I am the only one bugged by this.
My eithic divergence was -100% i modded it just to see if it was cause it was normally -6.5%, it must be one of those intermittent bugs that doesn't always happen, i have played several games and it hasn't happened...in 1.0.3 as well....which is weird.
I think Paradox made pops lose their ethics faster in the last hotfix, have you tried reducing ethic divergence to see if they still lose the ethics?
You would have to have your own trait and also make it impossible to pick when starting the game, even for you and edit the faction saved file which is located here: 'C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\user_empire_designs.txt' and add the trait in, though you can not go over what the game will allow by default, so no more all the traits, but you can make a custom trait and put in:
initial = no
modification = no
cost = 2
limit = { is_ai = no }
This means that it isn't pickable by you or the AI...i think, that is what the Deus Ex Trait mod has for theirs, but they use an event to give it to the player, but not the AI, i am assuming its similar to doing a basic copy and paste of the trait to the faction saved file itself.
Overall, you can give the trait all the bonuses of the other traits and just give it a cost of 2 or even 4, which forces you to take 2 negative traits to get it and its fine.
You just can't have 99 trait points and 99 trait picks anymore.
I am currently trying to find out how to make it so that the AI never picks the trait without having to resort to editing the saved game file everytime i create a new empire.
I even tried the Edict thing, not sure if that can be removed from the AI picking it up either, the whole AI weight thing is confusing, not sure why you couldn't just have a tag that says 'AI = no' to prevent its use....so much easier. lol
@Machi, i suggest that you make a custom trait that gives you all the bonuses of the traits that everyone likely picked when using this mod and you can make it so the AI can't pick it.
I can give you some examples if you like.
is it probably possible to rework this mod to event based like traits unlimited? dont know if ethics and traits are similar in coding so it would work
