Hey Alchimeriste , I don't know if you are aware of the civilian structure thread Hummel posted on Emperion website. I just wanted to see if you wanted to share your creations with the dev team to add to the game. They would look really cool in modular cities. Anyways here is the link:

about lights, it's a idea made in survival but it's hard (because Structure Integrity can destroy all) so to build this in survival mode you have to use additionnal blocks around (like a formwork), during construction, and then, when the lamp is finish you can remove additionals blocks.
But After, it's impossible to modify this lamp (because SI).

Moddel like Skyrim stuff for exemple (with details a lot of RP details or something that)? Yes

But, here I used only standard new Alpha blocks, no cheat or something who can be bad on MP.

@JagenXI : you can with a precise approach. If you want to learn I can help you on a special topic or elswhere.

What is important is not what you see, but how you are able to do so :
- first a basic idea to define a function
- then different experiments to combine function of the building and space management
- after that you obtain a functionnal prototype
- next, you need to test a lot your prototype and fixe problems
- finally you can work on the global/final design (textures / colors)
-and you add equipments and other stuff

I summarize crudely. Each step need more tips and tricks. If a player want to talk about that I can try with my bad english to explain some basics.

I'm current "working" on a better strategic base ( Alien's Regulators Project ) with the same look and same method but very different with four littles hangars for HV or SV. A kind of add-on to protect vessels (first to store my differents Regulators Vessels and also for who can like it)

@Mr.IceVat : Yes, in my current MP game (server: Empyrion France ) - in fact I don't play really ^^ - it's a "Police Station" (we try to experiment a RP like that) yes ^^
..and the cellars can store prisonners :)) The studio N°1 was transformed on Infirmary etc..

@Tzion, Amazing I don't know, but I try to do it properly. It's diffcult to want a "compact design" (without big block) and keep comfort or space in the same time. Isn't a very very useful base like big bases, for this reason I prefer to see this it like a "RP base".

Because isn't a strategic base.

* I don't know who he is, I suppose is one of the two idiots who like to copy blueprints of people (each new publish = one or two bad rating) maybe IJMAR or crazyfly.

If it's not you the ugly troll, if you are a normal user, please just explain what you hate in this building?
Something need a fixe? A problem with a particular block?
You hate the colors? You can change that in-game.

Dear Alchimeriste, I noticed you said you like all your things to be very small and compact. May I please reccomend a creation of my own for you to test out? I've been wanting some opinions and suggestions on it.

not bad but still a bit too big for my needs and not enuff protection to act as a mobile turret. Tho i can understand the size if it has all you said in it, the one i use is just 1 corridor with everything compacted in it and you must go around stuff to access everything, its not very practical, but since im looking for compact, its perfect for me

Not very sexy but very compact and with a little garde, bedroom, workshop, one turret, little hangar for SV, a lot of cargoboxes, etc for a group of 1 to 5.

Very agile in PreAlpha (too much agile now in Alpha ^^)

It's a exploration CV, not for war but can have 8 weapons + turrets

well this one is awesome mostly because it has a small sv integrated in it, you can barely notice it when its parked in its hole ^^ thats the first reason i downloaded it. then i learned to use it as mobile turret, shutting off the RCS and Thrusters on it while im mining or building and since, i cant play without it anymore, its my best friend for off-world operations

Yes it's a good exemple of a compact and useful ship :) And it's look like good ! For a "survival" it's the best way in solo. And with that it's easy to hunt space drones :)

I have a compact CV too, a little bit larger than this one named "Argo Navis".
But it's a old CV, must be updated..

not to make any commercial or anything but just to give you an exemple, i always use this CV as its small, its capable of defending a mining spot and it can also carry its very small heavy armed SV (i also attach 2 more sv on wings and a hover on the nose :P)

exactly, and since huge factions exists only in pvp (wich i dont play) big a$$ ships arent for me.
I prefer be invisible with my wife aqnd avoid conflict or be able to escape conflict, instead of being a pirate and be forced of looking over my shoulder at every single momments of my gameplay.

Yes mee too :) All my SV or CV are very little ^^ light, agile and eco ;)
Huge ships in Alpha are useless yes, and are only for faction (real group of players, not for one or two friends ^^).

big ships are useless, they cost a fortune to craft and are not maneuvrable and mostly glitchy. For me, the smaller = the better. i can hide most of my ships in tunnels or underwater caves. no one can find me unless they come really close and see my ships names appear.

Please note and disclaimer :

This is not a real base, I hope that you are aware .. It's more a "RP base" or a "shieleded storage for faction members" because this base is not sufficiently defended (for MP PVP) and has little equipment (not enough Constructors, no garden ect).

This building must be integrated with other buildings in a same area (with garden, casern, hangars etc).

It's just a little home for workers, nothing more.

@Spectre Finite: big or little thing isn't really important, what is important is what is done.
I see alot of huge and "epic" vessels in-game, for me none is helpful, I prefer my own ships (not in the workshop), agile, usefull and economical..
