It's nice that validation, AWE would be happy to make contracts with ZeroG industries ;)
about lights, it's a idea made in survival but it's hard (because Structure Integrity can destroy all) so to build this in survival mode you have to use additionnal blocks around (like a formwork), during construction, and then, when the lamp is finish you can remove additionals blocks.
But After, it's impossible to modify this lamp (because SI).

Moddel like Skyrim stuff for exemple (with details a lot of RP details or something that)? Yes
But, here I used only standard new Alpha blocks, no cheat or something who can be bad on MP.
@JagenXI : you can with a precise approach. If you want to learn I can help you on a special topic or elswhere.
What is important is not what you see, but how you are able to do so :
- first a basic idea to define a function
- then different experiments to combine function of the building and space management
- after that you obtain a functionnal prototype
- next, you need to test a lot your prototype and fixe problems
- finally you can work on the global/final design (textures / colors)
-and you add equipments and other stuff
I summarize crudely. Each step need more tips and tricks. If a player want to talk about that I can try with my bad english to explain some basics.

@Tzion, Amazing I don't know, but I try to do it properly. It's diffcult to want a "compact design" (without big block) and keep comfort or space in the same time. Isn't a very very useful base like big bases, for this reason I prefer to see this it like a "RP base".
Because isn't a strategic base.

Not very sexy but very compact and with a little garde, bedroom, workshop, one turret, little hangar for SV, a lot of cargoboxes, etc for a group of 1 to 5.
Very agile in PreAlpha (too much agile now in Alpha ^^)
It's a exploration CV, not for war but can have 8 weapons + turrets
I have a compact CV too, a little bit larger than this one named "Argo Navis".

if you can manage to build something alike with the same abilities, id be very interested since all my other builds are from AWE ^^
I prefer be invisible with my wife aqnd avoid conflict or be able to escape conflict, instead of being a pirate and be forced of looking over my shoulder at every single momments of my gameplay.
Huge ships in Alpha are useless yes, and are only for faction (real group of players, not for one or two friends ^^).
This is not a real base, I hope that you are aware .. It's more a "RP base" or a "shieleded storage for faction members" because this base is not sufficiently defended (for MP PVP) and has little equipment (not enough Constructors, no garden ect).
This building must be integrated with other buildings in a same area (with garden, casern, hangars etc).
It's just a little home for workers, nothing more.

@Spectre Finite: big or little thing isn't really important, what is important is what is done.
I see alot of huge and "epic" vessels in-game, for me none is helpful, I prefer my own ships (not in the workshop), agile, usefull and economical..
