Report a translation problem
I didn't actually try the unintended solution of portal-killing the turrets like some people did, but if you want to prevent that, you could use grating over the portalable surfaces.
I do have an issue with the map, though. I was about to call it "sadistic", but it appears that the "sadism" is some kind of glitch. The first 3 times I played it, when you rotated the bridge, it rotated back on its own about 4 seconds later. So, I was doing some fast fingered racing around and dying alot. The 4th time, the bridge stopped rotating back on its own. I had to manually rotate it. So that made the map go from impossible to normal.

Oh god.
Oh well, the turrets added a really fun challenge to the map.
