is there a hardcoded cap on how many you can build?

I decided to put like one by every hyperlane entrance and in the end i couldn't build anymore of them.

@Averax Yeah, when constructing it says that it costs something like you said but upon creation it still costs maintenance. It says so when you select it and it also shows up in the budget

@Uncle When you make the station does the station cost maintenance? I know the construction ships says there will be, but on construction of the station there should not be.

I think the update has messed with the mod, I started a new game to check and found out there is still military station maintanance

@Mole this only works with new save games. Most of my others work with old ones :)

For some reason this does not work for me, neither does any mod that changes the maintenance for military stations. Your "No station maintenence (all)" mod works fine, but not these. Looking at all the other mods I have installed I can't see any that modify military stations in any way. :steamsad:
