Apparently the "elevator ride" cinematic that plays in between the levels after the last soldier takes the ride up is a load screen, so probably yeah.
That make a difference?
Is there any way to fix this?
It's the SPARK Room lockdown portion of the mission. Trying to figure out if this is intentional as I've *just* now noticed that these passive abilities still went away when I was inside that room...and I haven't reloaded THIS save.
I just noticed that NONE of my soldiers' yellow passive abilities were showing up after a loaded save:

Even using Shadowfall won't re-Stealth the soldier...this is clearly a bug.
Tried to delete all config and cache. Still crashes instantly in campaign. Siiiiiigh.

Makes all the longwar 12 soldiers since last hotfix regain there passive ability again.
Instead of 6 soliders having there passive abilities. and the rest don´t awesome work.
