Im a bad pilot at it at the moment, but i play halo reach, and this thing looks like it, flys like it and is just all around super cool. The missiles though, i cant never figre those out on any creations, they spin out of control the second i fire them no matter what im doing. Its like this on any creation I try, if anyone has a solution that would be great.

This is an amazing plane. I love all the indicators, that should help me a lot as soon as I memorize what indicator indicates what. I'm also really impressed with how awesome it looks without even having skins. I'm going to skin it anyway, of course, but that really impresses me. Another thing I like is its adaptability. It has VTOL for tight takeoff, missiles and the gliding bomb, long-range flamethrowers, a cannon, and indicators for ease of use. I also love the look of its take-off (just based on the GIF), which kind of reminds me of rocket take-offs what with the fire suddenly appearing at the side of the plane accompanied by smoke. So, all in all, one of the best planes I've ever seen on the Workshop.

This has got to be my favorite plane creation in besiege! It's tight and responsive, has epic weaponry, and the follow cam gives you a real sense of speed like a starfighter should have! If I could fly any creation in real life, I would choose this one every time (I would probably blow up and die, but that's ok).

This creation is awesome! Once you know the controls, it's not that hard to use. It's quite sturdy, and can take a mediocre amount of abuse for a plane. I'm also a very big fan of Halo, and really liked Reach. Keep up the good work, and maybe make more Halo stuff?

This creation was uploaded before there was any skinpacks in the game. Play it vanilla for the same looks as in the screenshots.

autohovering is just loads of small adjustments until you hit the point. The propellers can be rotated flat if rotated exactly 23.06876º, optimal angle can vary depending on type of machine. Experiment to find the best solution.

Oh yeah and I read your guide. Very helpful. I have a question though. With the propellers angles what is the optimum angle? Is it 22 or is there something even more potent? Also, how do u get auto hover mechanisms? Do u just trial and error or is there a rule? I apologise for asking so many questions I'm just really interested in flight

Oh OK. To be honest flying creations appeal to me much more than land-based vehicles so I would like to start making some of my own. Do u have any tips? I recently learned vanilla proppellors facing back are more effective than sideways ones and (thanks to you) steam cannons are a great method of propulsion

Oh OK. It doesn't seem to affect the com too much and it flies pretty much dead straight even with the extra blade. How long did it take to make that?

About the metal plate, probably just me forgetting to mirror it to othe other side :steamfacepalm: It's not meant to be asymmetrical..

The third person camera, i didn't spend too much time fixing that since I mainly wanted it to be experienced in first person.

About the skins, I have no idea :/

I do have a couple of questions though. First of all, I noticed on the right side there is a metal plate that isn't on the other side just over the propellers underneath the wing. Why is this here? Is it meant to be asymetrical and if so why? I love to find out how things work. Also, how on earth did you make it work so well and look so amazing? The detail of the cockpit (although I prefer to see it in third person in all it's beauty) is mind-blowing. One thing I would say is the third person camera is a little strange. Can't quite figure out what it is but I end up altering it slightly each time. Finally, is there a way to change the skins for all of the same block? I was trying to personalise it earlier in some deep red and the game crashed out nowhere. Took me a good 20 minutes to do it too.

Woah! I downloaded this a couple of days ago without really reading too much into it, I figured out the basic controls. Hover, thrust, boost, pitch, yaw, 1-3. But boy this thing is fun. I half expected a jump jet type thing because of the look of the wings, but this is cool enough. It seems to me like I haven't even seen half of it!

Nobounds don't resize blocks. It just disables the bounds for how much you can set the slider for the blocks parameters. If you want to scale blocks you should use PBP2

what mod do you use for resizing blocks? or do you just edit the .bsg? ive tried no bounds but it does not work right now it seem :steamsad:

@Teddy, with vanilla there's a point when your creation becomes too big, and heavy for the current sandbox. Not to mention when your creation gets too big it tends to collapse in on itself, and without size mods you can't build structural beams without them connecting to pieces you don't want to be stiffened. for example hinges, swivel joints, pistons, and sliders to name a few.

This is great and all, but the modding of part sizes and non-standard pieces has really turned me off from this game. It was great seeing how people could work within the engine's limitations as far as aligning/connecting pieces and still create awesome engines - this just feels like cheating.

Literally awesome, deserves place 1st of most popular. it's controls are friendly (believe me i dont read any controls and with TFGHJKUIMN456 i saw perfectly how to fly that badass thing in 1 minute, i only needed to search for the camera key XD), the cocpit of course, cool loking and extremly useful. The autobomber is funny and nice xD and his camera is a very nice point of view. the J vtol are noice noice noice, it allows you to look at other places or distract yourself without crashing. It is worth mentioning that the cockpit camera improves the FPS ^^ the landin gear is soft. 10/10 really nice!
