On the mods checklist page, it says i am missing required dependencies. I have installed the very latest version of VP that supposedly includes all 4 of these required dependencies. Any advice?

Hi! Just a question, I am a little confused - is this mod already implemented by base default in VP, or this is extra events other than those in VP already? (the screenshoots show events already inside VP)

the mod said that it depends on Vox Populi. and despite i installed the community package, the vox populi mod isnt there. where do i download the Vox Populi mod?

Sorry, you were right - events not enabled. Didn't realise that the advance start mod unchecks events as standard. Delete my previous comment to avoid confusion. Fantastic mod btw, essential imo :D

Shouldn't have accepted Foreign Advisor (as that where it originates from).
Declining it has no repercussion and prevents bad events like those from happening.

Advisor Events are getting a rework on the next version.

I had to post regarding one event that made me quit a game and restart without events.

A foreigner has been murdered.
Forced to pay 225 gold and 225 culture, and bad relations with an 'unknown' entity.

I got this three times about 30 turns on marathon. Bad luck, yeah maybe, but firstly can we have something that doesn't pick the same event so soon after it already fired.

No choice in the event, pay both and have bad relations?
How about one of the three?
Or kill it with fire. Can l edit out an event btw?

Even the corruption event is more palatable than this.

I'm also getting events really close together, so not uncommon to see one (might even be two on some turns) firing in sequential turns and this is on a Marathon game.

Would humbly recommend that bad events don't fire until the ancient era is over maybe? It can completely undermine a campaign early on, and you never have any of the alternative choices available, so it just ends up being click and eat s**t RNG.

Heya. Just wanted to confirm the bug Zarrk reported on the Civfanatics forum for the 'Summertime...' event. Choice 4 gives a boost to prodution when it should be a penalty.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of that event anyway, loss of 75 production seems like a harsh penalty for not being near a mountains or ice, particularly in the early game.

Hey I have the required mods installed as a DLC for multiplayer use, this means I can't use this mod in singleplayer cause the mod doesn't recognize the DLC for the sake of requirements. Is there a fix for this?

Oops. You were right, Enginseer. On a hunch, I checked the Advanced Setup Options in a new game, and there they were; all the "no event" options were checked. I'll try a new game with those options off later.

Yeah, I subscribed to this mod and I have the whole VP package (used the auto installer option). However, in the game in which I activated Community Events, I have gone over 60 turns into the game, and have yet to see any events. Are they that rare? Or am I doing something wrong?

My game crashes after 60-90 turns or so with this mod. I only use the community mods 1-5, 6a, and 7. Could it be that I don't have the latest version or something?

dont know why. Probably because you can't make DLC versions from mods that has audio files or something.
