Ah, success at last. Very nice map, well made and lit. It finally occured to me that I had to get the laser beam on both the relay and the catcher! Thanks for your work.

Well, I've solved the first three door/button puzzles, but the fourth has me stumped. I figure the player has to stand on the third button since there's only two cubes so I've done that with the laser redirected either on the relay or the catcher and the door opens, but I can't see how to get to the fourth exit button without getting off the third "code" button. I'll quit for a while and maybe come back to this one after I vent my frustration.

LOL to the portal gun! I've never noticed it was there. A BEE2 mod auto-gen easter egg maybe?

Actually i also used the BEE2 mod. The logic item was a huge help with making that last room work the way i wanted it to.

Ok I see now :-) The light strips code is a good idea though I completely overlooked it.

I suppose you made it with the in-game editor and polished it with Hammer? (e.g. for the thin blocks)
If so, maybe you could make the code more obvious by switching the light strips on/off when pressing the buttons . I don't know what's possible with Hammer though.
BTW, I don't know whether it is intended, but there is a portal gun in the door opening of the first room .

The big room would be covered in ant lines and symbols if I showed everything that was going on with those buttons. Also, the light strips on the wall help with which buttons to push. I made sure everything those buttons activate happens infront of you or points you in the right direction. Thank you for playing my chamber! Glad you liked the laser bit at the end :D

I liked it but I am still a bit confused about the first room: once you have the cube, do you really have to use the camera to put it at an angle?

I find it a bit annoying that there is no indication on how the buttons work in the big room. However I really liked how the puzzle ends with the laser .

Yeah the sphere part was the very last puzzle to be added to this map and at that point i was having a hard time coming up with anything. So i guess it's the result of just wanting to be done lol

Done. Arcade parts bit irritating, especially trick with spere cube. But great map anyway ;)

Lol no worries. I've gotten stuck like that many times. Thanks for trying out my maps :D
Huub900 3 Jun, 2016 @ 2:21pm
Thx. Few days ago i played chamber with almost the same trick. I am stupid ;)
Banhart  [author] 3 Jun, 2016 @ 6:34am
Which part of the first room are you stuck on? After pushing the button or after using the angeled panel?
Huub900 2 Jun, 2016 @ 9:50am
Huh, i spent more than hour and still have no idea, what should I do in first room... :/

Thank you very much for trying it out Hugo. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

That was a really well made map, thank you for suggesting and for making it! It was pretty challenging, but not frustrating. Eventually things would come to place. I absolutely loved how outside the box players have to think in this map. Looking forward for more!
